    7. We are all so concerned with the police that we aren't asking the obvious.
Funke said that most of the people at the party were in their house months, weeks and days before the lockdown. So, how come the house was practically empty when the police got there? The others were amen estate residents, so where are they too? Was funke lying Afterall?

Putting it on the net, was it to show off or to tell how to party in lockdown.

I just see it as having fun in lockdown.

It is well with the family. What an April month, just doing them as April fool

    2. Hey sadist 11:35. How is Eniola's weight your business? Does her success make you so miserable that you had to mention her weight to feel superior?

Seat your dirty flat ass at the back abeg, let confident people with better opinions comment!

As for miss 2face yori, it's always in low class talks they find you! Oh well; that's what your brain capacity can carry. So laff on...

    3. 15:21, you are quite angry.

I do not promote shaming but if you must engage in it,as you just did as well, please ensure its accurate otherwise, it won't score any points. 11:35 may be fair skinned, have a big ass and maybe successful.

Sorry, I don't know Yori's antecedents, so I'll pass on that.

  7. Lagos is just different from the rest of this country. The possibility of the government to bring sanity in Lagos is hopeful. Abuja is about who is who and other states is all about brutality and impunity.

    Thumbs up Lagos state.

  11. Chai! How I wish Funke did not post that video. This is so embarrassing for her. Her dettol advert is no more on TV, I know Reckit might stop her contract. This is really sad. I know others will learn from her mistake.

  12. Manhunt ke? I thought they claimed they were all isolated in Amen estate. So why are they being searched for like they came from different parts of Lagos for the party

So the people went in their cars to Amen Estate

  13. Serious indeed but I think they just wana run test on those people who attended that party then isolate them too. But I think the police should be a bit friendly here so the rest can also surrender and come out.

    ReplyDelete
  14. They should just turn themselves in, and do the community service and show good behavior. Why are they running? Maybe, just maybe 1 week into community service they might discharge them. After all there are people pleading for mercy on their behalf.
    Lessons learnt.

It's just ignorance on the scary health situation that Nigeria might get into if care is not taken. Funke and the husband should have known better. They f'ed up, they are being used as an example since they are a known face & name.

Regardless people have decided to remain in their ignorance, arguing foolishly in their support of holding a crowded party with some attendees coming from outside.
When shit hits the fan, do not blame the Fed Gov't. When the body bags start increasing by the 100s to the thousands and you had refused to do your own part to #stopthespread, do not apportion blame. There is a shortage of test kits, even in the US they cannot meet up, so be guided.

Lets do our bit to eradicate this thing before June, mbanu, people are there arguing. Yes let's hold the people stampeding among themselves while Funke & the Husband were entering the courthouse. It was so f**ing wrong & a very sad scene. What a shame. The Lagos government,
the judiciary should be held to account.

Simple directives to comply, no o. Imagine if the graph line starts going up to the peak, it means through 2020 & into 2021. Imagine the hardship, prolonged hardship & suffering more than what we are seeing now. Just use your correct brain to imagine.....and do the right thing.

Do not congregate! Not more than 10 people in a closed space. Even with the 10, keep the 2 meter distance. If not possible, disperse.

    1. 12:20, thank you very much.

We do not cease to amaze me in Nigeria. All over the world, famous people are treated differently. The same way Funke would receive priority treatment in locations is the same way she should expect to receive the other side of it.

Health ministers have been demoted, dep gov of Kenya was jailed for violating the lockdown order etc.

When an ordinary citizen is flagged for a driving offence, at times the person may get just a warning. But, recently, David Beckham was given a much higher fine simply because of his status and the expectations society has from people in positions of popularity.

Celebrities cannot expect to take only the good their status affords them. They should be ready for the flak as well.

The developed countries we scream about didn't get developed by these types of behaviour, action and the average Nigerian way of thinking.

Mr JJSKILLZ stayed in the UK for a period. He would not have tried this there. And he also knows that a paltry =N=100k( a little above £200) will not get them out.

We want a better Nigeria? We must all work harder.

      Delete
    2. Exactly, why didn’t they throw the party in UK? We all have to work hard to flatten the curve of the virus

  17. Wow.. this is getting serious

  18. I personally think it is now political. It is less about Funke and more about Gbadamosi. I don’t think all these is needed. Funke and JJC should be held accountable and let others go scotch free. Everyone has learnt their lessons. What if these people are carriers and you are letting them go community service?

  21. Govt shud jail her and let it serve as deterrent to others. These Nigerian celebrities feels like Demigods. A Dettol ambassador for that matter. She shud be stripped from her ambassadorial duties.

  22. I usually don’t comment but I like to comment on this. COVID-19 is a serious virus. I work in the health care sector in North America. We are getting overwhelmed with cases on a daily bases. People like funke and who ever attended the party makes people like me weak and frustrated and even so putting us at risk. Flattening the curve of this virus is highly dependent on each and every one of us. Please bear in mind that the whole world is on lock down just because of this virus. Every party, events and gatherings can be postponed until things gets back to normal. Please let the law take it’s full course.
