    3. Why are we so wasteful as a Nation? So you mean to tell me that after seizing all those truckloads of rice, they just lock it up in a warehouse and let it decay? So they don't know they can generate income with it by auctioning it out to the general public? They can also sell them to large hotels and restaurants or donate some to different motherless and nursing homes.I am really upset at this wastefulness.

  13. Who locks up perishable food items for months and then turns around to distribute it for people to eat??? They should send it to Aso Rock kitchen. If is good for the people to cook and eat, it should be good for it to be cooked there too.

  15. Even if these bags of rice were smuggled, letting them in would have been better for the economy than letting them rot away. You seize goods and don’t have an idea of what you will do with them. If this isn’t cluelessness and wickedness, I wonder what is.

At the very least, couldn’t these have been used as part of the ‘feed the school program’? But no, the money to be siphoned from that program needed to be whole and entire😐.

  17. Shebi you were all jubilating when you voted Buhari in, you said all manner of unprintable things about Jonathan , little did you all know that you were shooting yourselves in the foot . Corruption still exists and you people voted in ‘wickedness’ to join the corruption. You will all suffer for it. Did you not see other credible candidates to vote in? You are only just starting! Fasten you’re seat belts . You will weep blood !

  18. What an epic waste. In a country where hunger is rife to see this level if wastage. 800 bags no less. Don't these ppl remember that the country is extremely hot and if things are not stored properly humidity and moisture build up leading to mould and mildew and spoilage. All that food just gone down the drain.
