    4. You won't remain foolish for long. When you start seeing dead bodies all around, including your loved ones, you will have sense by force.

    5. There will be Easter next year and the years after that!!!!!! Why not be sensible??
What will it profit you, to celebrate Easter this year and not be alive to celebrate next year???????

    6. You must be the DAFTEST 'angel's on earth. As is in purely DAFT.

We are talking of life and death you are talking of 'celebrating Easter' like a toddler.

If you worship in your home, will Jesus reject it?

  3. Even with the restriction of movement and social distancing rule, churches are still holding services in port-harcourt without microphones. Whether he lifts the ban or changes the rule, citizens will never obey orders. I will not go to church till all this is over.

  5. really bad idea, 14 days is d incubation period, the governor would have waited few days after the 14days to know those who will start developing symptoms. if none, live goes on as usual

  6. The Catholic diocese of Port Harcourt still maintained the lock down of Sunday services as I saw on one memo addressed to all parishes.

Wike sometimes surprises me that I am tempted to ask if truly he's a lawyer. So after Sunday service this week they will go back to the status quo? Then I asked again, to what end? Has the virus disappear that will make congregants gather tomorrow? As a leader, you shouldn't act before you think rather it should be the other way round. The same Wike who humiliated and rough handled an Anglican pastor for officiating a service is now lifting the veil of lockdown to the same church at a time the virus is still increasing in the ccountry. What makes tomorrow service special and different from others? I think the governor needs some proper orientation on how good things are done.

  7. Gov. Wike has proven to be a confused man

  8. When I saw that circular permitting churches and mosques to open this weekend, I knew Wike had gone totally mad.
    All for allocation I’m sure.

  9. Even if they say churches should hold service tomorrow, won't you stay in your house and sing Hosannah to your God with your family?

With all the pandemic, if Nigeria Government should say Holiday is over and free us I will still be mindful of places I go .

  10. So I saw a crowded jum'at service that a 'newly recovered' governor attended alongside a host of others but its not trending.

I guess we actually aren't trying to have people fail for their crime, we just hate Funke.

  14. Let everyone connect to the churches through satellite na....... atleast the big churches hold services online........and to think that it is this same gov that is battling caverton for breaching lockdown rules

  16. Governor can say whatever. Na the idiot wey go church una suppose worry about. If Wike says "drink sniper", will you drink? Let them go to church and let Natural Selection take its course. We cannot continue to harbour stupid people among us.

  17. i will watch service online, no time to stress myself.

weather you are in church or watching at home no difference.

  18. The Catholic diocese of Port Harcourt enjoined the priests and parishioners to disregard the injunction and consider the implications by staying at home.

Same was done by the Catholic Bishop of Nsukka as all masses are currently being aired on the radio and through live broadcasts on Facebook.

These ones indeed understand that obedience is better than sacrifice.

    Safety first.

May God heal our land and keep us all.

    Amen.

    1. Also MFM.

The General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Dr. D. K. Olukoya has directed that no service should hold in the locations where the State Governments have temporarily lifted the ban for religious meetings.

In line with this directive, there shall be no service on Sunday, 12th April, 2020. All members of MFM are kindly advised to stay at home and connect to the International HQ service via the available channels.

      God bless you!

  20. I just saw this post, COVID 19 is not as rampart as the government is claiming, they are just using it to get money and the reason why the lockdown has not been lifted is because WHO wants to disburse money to affected nations. Nigerians should be wiser than this this government is a sham and scam.

  21. Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad. Wike must have been high on something rather cheap when he relaxed the restrictions except he has ulterior or sinister intentions because I cannot see any sense in his decision.

I'm glad however that most of the people I know in Rivers are more sensible than to obey this stupid directive. I hope others will be smart enough to stay at home.

  22. Governor Wike is a useless man. Why arrest the caverton pilots doing their lawful duty and on the other hand lift restrictions because of Easter. Even in Rome there's full lockdown. Rogue Governors everywhere. BOS God bless you now and always. You are the man
