  1. Very harsh truth.
Said in a very harsh way but it is the truth, build your brand and watch other brands clamoring to identify with your brand.
Social media is the way to go, this wasn’t so decades ago.

    2. Dayo said the truth and nothing but the truth but she said it in a very harsh tone.

The only problem here is the harsh tone although it might propel the girl to push her self if she's a goal getter.

  2. She should have responded to the lady in a nicer way

  3. Damn that was harsh. Hi everyone

  4. Well she has said the truth. Let the young girl pay attention to the things she listed. No one will be Willing to help you if you haven't shown a solid fact. In this case she needs to bring out her talent unless she won't be taken serious.
Besides, It's in our diligence that success locates us. You can't do nothing and expect to land success.

    1. Not everyone is a skit maker. Did the girl say she wants to be a comedian? Abi did she also break into the movie industry with skits

    2. Must it be a comedy skit? She can make small videos involving 2 or 3 showcasing her talent. Experts can from there pick her up. Despise not the little beginning.

  5. Damn.
That response was too harsh and uncalled for.

    1. I agree,

      Proverbs 15:1

A gentle answer turns away wrath ,
But a harsh word stirs up anger .

    2. Noir👌, I pray she doesn't turn bitter trying to outdo Dayo in life.

  6. Lol Skit?
No wonder most of our movie duration is almost like that of a skit.
There’s a difference between an actor and a stand up comedian.

  7. She and the 'aspiring actress' write alike. As if they had the same English teacher.

    She is right though.

    1. I think they have the same teacher, imagine her writing 'get' age.

Well, she spoke the truth but she should have been nice about it.

      My thoughts too 😕
They need to invest in their education, it's never too late to do better .

    1. The truth maybe but she ought to have been kinder. She could still have passed down that advice without sounding so mean. There is too much bile out there why not choose to be kind.

    2. I tire, very nasty somebody.

  10. Could have been worded better but the content is in order

  11. Please who is this Dayo Amusa and what does she do for a living?
    Acting? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The ones asking her for help are the ones I pity greatly.
Someone has to help herself before she can help others.

  12. That was too harsh, after the call out she decided to sound a bit nice.

  13. You can advice someone without been harsh

  14. I think she passed a good advice in wrong way. Delivery matters alot, her wrong delivery of her message makes her sound bitter.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Yes it was actually too harsh. She could have just adviced her to begin with skits and all...this is how they demoralize people. It costs nothing to season one's words with grace and answer politely.

    1. We mustn’t all do skits nah. And I wonder the craze with skits because I find some of this skits low key annoying and distasteful.

  16. She said the truth in a very harsh way. It's left for the young girl to pick up the right words and leave the rest for Dayo.

  17. It was a good advice but delivered in a bad way. We pity them when people troll them but sometimes they are just as bad.

If she can say this with her real account, I wonder what she would have said in anonymous mode or behind closed doors.

  18. Her first reply was too harsh and uncalled for.. subsequent ones made a little sense. By the way I only know her on his blog.

  20. Dayo Amusa I know not!
Sometimes in life we need bitter people to tell us bitter truth
So we can push ourselves and move out of our comfort zone.
The lady might not like it. But use this small popularity wey u don refuse to blow.
Work on yourself. And show the world what you can do.

  21. She has good advice but she did not present it well at all. The world is already full of bile why add to it. She could have sounded kinder with her advice. You cannot really tell the state people are in. Maybe a little kind encouragement will lift their moods. People be kind out there.

  22. I am like a snail, once a hash word is thrown at me, I recoil and WILL never come out ever again. Gradually I learnt from STRONG girls who succeeded against all odds and started ignoring and finding an inner strength
Some humans r fast learners , others r slow, some need just a lil hand and dey climb to the top, with just a lil help( words of encouragement). Some patients and once u get pass tru that they r ontop.
Look at most pple with 3rd class, they r successful outside school work and u wonder y
Words like hers has KILLED alot of talents unknown to her , Y So MEAN ? Teach if u can, encourage if u can. Otherwise kindly redirect the person with LOVE. Dayo pls do better next time.

    1. Exactly! Why so mean? You have said it all.

  25. No one is even considering that the girl might not know how to make a skit or even have a good enough phone for such.

Not every actress and actor today but old age and new age started by making skits.

A little if I have an audition, I will contact u could have done the trick and then she could have gently added the skit part to make herself more marketable, but no, she's a joke because she's no Taaoma.

  27. Dayo's advice was good but the way she presented it really shows the type of aggressive and arrogant personality in her , though some people because of small fame within a local government county can turn them into demi gods
