That its ignorance and wickedness that would cause the spread in Nigeria.
And looking at the way it's going I was right.

  5. I blame the govt for giving directives to ease the lockdown.

Do Nigerians look like people who can obey simple law? What are the measures put in place to make sure the rule of social distancing is obeyed?

Kaduna State that doesn't have up to Lagos State case gave us 30days even though it's not easy but we will surely pull through and now they have created neighborhood market so community transmission can be reduced to the barest minimum.

May God keep us all safe, especially my parents and siblings in Lagos.

  6. Are the scenes we are seeing now not enough proof that Nigerians are Nigerians and people of Kano, Abuja, Aba and Lagos behave essentially the same when it comes to physical distancing? All notions of "Northerners" vs. "Southerners" are hereby rendered null and void 😂

  7. And now the real problem begin...

  8. Lord have Mercy!!!!!!
👀🤯 kai this is all shades of wrong 🙆‍♀️,

I was actually hoping there would be task force at the bus stops and hopefully banks and other places to coordinate and enforce social distancing,

Please if you do not have any reason to be out , stay at home !!!

  11. Now what's the essence of sitting at home for one month when it will later come to this? If u guys don't pity yourself, please pity those health workers. Don't overwhelm them please cos some haven't seen their families for weeks!!!

    2. They should pity the health workers. Nigerians are too stubborn, it’s very hard for them to follow instructions. I just pray lockdown ease doesn’t hit us hard

  12. The taskforce officials should be at those strategic places like bus stops and banks to avoid close contacts.

  14. Nigeria my country....i fear for the number of cases we might see in 2 weeks time😢

we should learn to help ourselves for crying out loud if not the next lockdown might last for months as we lack the necessary isolation center facilities to curb a wider spread of this virus, but nigerians will always take everything for granted even their own lives 🤦🏽‍♂️

  15. Na wa o
All it takes is one infected person to be in this crowd and the number of positive cases will rapidly increase.
Lifting this lockdown was not the best idea 🤦🏽‍♀️

  16. GTB in my area has stopped operation when they couldn’t control the crowd
Zenith rented a canopy and chair for their customers same as fidelity too
UBA shares same building with my office, the crowd outside the bank is mad and they are attending to 10 people at a time
    Reporting live from Mushin!!
    Peace out ✌️

  17. Lagos is a timing bomb waiting to explode.
Our leaders will be locked up in their houses, while those who can’t afford good health care will jeopardize themselves. See them with cloth mask sef

    1. Don’t mind time, small time they will start blaming the government for not adhering to instructions.

  18. Lagos is over-populated.
I was wondering how they would manage the largely uneducated masses and get them to practice social distancing in markets like Computer Village, Ladipo, Mushin, Balogun.

Most markets in Lagos and other States can best be described as 'dirt markets' with unpaved floors etc.

Lagos State also has more slums than well-planned areas.

Other States that are not densely populated have lower incidents of Covid-19 infections.
I wish the FG had foresight to open up other sea ports several years ago but sectionalism blinded them.

Government should plan and build cities to evenly spread the population and in anticipation of exploding population.

    Wake up call.

  22. See their stubborn heads.
This physical distancing didn't even enter their heads.
How people hate themselves to be playing with their health.
Not only that the more the virus spreads the more they extend the lock down, the more hunger bites.

  23. this is crazy, Lagos people please hep yourselves since the government cannot help you.

  24. Tomorrow they will say its the northerners that is killing us. Just imagine the crowd in a time like this

  27. The only thing most Nigerians know how to do is steal, 419, drugs, prostitution kidnapping, raping, giving birth to multiple children, lie, bleach and make jokes out of everything. Yet you guys call yourself the giant of Africa. You wish. Nigeria is a cursed nation and it will get worse if you guys don't change. We afroamericans are better than ya'll despite our own shortcomings.
