Judge Who Annulled Nigeria's June 12 Election Reportedly Dies...

June 12 will never be forgotten in Nigeria and Dabiru Saleh, the judge who annulled the June 12, 1993 presidential election, won by MKO Abiola has reportedly died and been buried according to Muslim rites...










TheCable reports that Saleh has been buried according Muslim rites in Azare, his hometown, in Bauchi on Thursday evening.

Saleh, until his death, held the title of “Mutawallen” of Katagum emirate in Bauchi.

He served as the Chief Judge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court.

  5. All of u referencing his death to the annulment hope u remember he died 27 years after so whatever punishment u think this death is for I don’t understand!! He died at a ripe old age so what is the going to meet the real judge and living with guilt for??? 27 years after???

      Besides, that was during the military era. Who knows if the Judge annulled that election under duress.

      Prof. Humphrey Nwosu, the INEC Chairman that came up with Option A4 (open ballot) and upheld the election result was beaten to pulp. What has Nigerian and Nigerians done in his honour till today? 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️

  6. Was MKO Abiola a good man? A man that sank the whole Bible imported to Nigeria cos he has money. CAN at that time didn't have money to clear the Bible, MKO paid for it and gave order for it to be sunk immediately. God is not mocked and he is not a respected of person. The judge died at old age and not guilt.
