Kogi State Government Rejects NCDC Results And Says The State Is COVID 19 Free

The Kogi government says the state is COVID-19 free.

In a statement on Wednesday, Saka Haruna Audu, Kogi health commissioner, said the state government has developed “full testing capacity” and “conducted hundreds of tests” which have come back negative.

This position is contrary to that of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). The centre said two people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the state.

In the statement, Audu said the state would not be a party “to any fictitious COVID-19 claims.
Kogi State till this very moment is Covid-19 free. We have developed full testing capacity and have conducted hundreds of tests so far which have come back negative.

“We have also continued to insist that we will not be a party to any fictitious COVID-19 claims which is why we do not recognise any COVID-19 test conducted by any Kogite outside the boundaries of the State except those initiated by us.
Any attempt to force us to announce a case of COVID-19 will be vehemently rejected.”

The commissioner asked residents of the state to continue to take all necessary precautions to prevent a spread of the disease.

“We are more than prepared to secure the life of our people and have no interest in playing politics with their health concerns,” he said.

I said it, Nigeria government is playing politics with this Coronavirus in order to get the world sympathy and other big organizations donations and it will in return give birth to monetry donations that will benefit them

I was out yesterday at ojo area of Lagos and I see the multitude of people all over the place, street, market etc, and I said to myself if the figure that is been reported by the ncdc daily is true, definitely, there should be no person on the street, everybody should have been at the isolation centre cause no body is really observing the social distance

Our government have failed us again, why would they be lying to us in a time such as this

    2. What about Ajegunle in Olodi Apapa...I went there last week to visit and no one was observing social distancing..I felt like an alien with my mask on...as crowded as that place is,not one person have been reported to have contacted the person,so they are non chalant about it...

Sometimes I wonder too. No report from Makoko,Mushin,Ajegunle,Ebutemetta and the likes?...maybe I'm unaware though,I stand corrected

  11. Hmmm.. I suspect some of the Covid-19 livescores are fictitious. It will be a shame if the Covid-19 numbers are fake.

Well, there's a good side to it if our military can explore the "hoax" to their advantage in the theater of war. Some of the NGOs in Borno are suspected to be fueling the BH war. So since Covid-19 is here, I believe fear go catch them or they will probably run back to their countries. And then, our boys will have free days neutralizing the threat once and for all.

If we can't win the BH war now, I don't know if we can ever win it again
