Memo To Men Concerning Changing Boxers Frequently

E don happen.....

A medical expert, Dr Chinonso Egemba, popularly known as Aproko Doctor, has revealed why it’s important for men to change their boxers every two days.

According to Egemba, wearing boxers for more than two days can encourage breeding of harmful fungi, which may lead to jock itch and groin infection.

While speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Awka, Egemba expressed that unwashed or repeated use of the same boxers for days could irritate the skin.

According to him, the fungal infection which is common in athletes and people who sweat a lot or are overweight often affects the groin and inner thighs.

“Jock itch (tinea cruris) is a fungal infection that causes a red and itchy rash in warm and moist areas of the body.
“The rash often affects the groin and inner thighs and may be shaped like a ring.
“Jock itch gets its name because it’s common in athletes. It’s also common in people who sweat a lot or who are overweight.

“The pubic region is an area in the human body that is always dark, warm and moist due to sweating, when you repeat same boxer for days, you are making fungi to grow and multiply in the pubic area.
“This could lead to Jock itch and Groin infection caused by a fungus known as ‘Tinea Cruris’ and usually develops in the skin around the groin, inner thighs and buttocks.
“This is most common in men and adolescent boys.
“The common symptoms include itching and burning, red, scaly, circular rashes and peeling of the skin. When this happens, see a doctor for proper treatment,” he said.

He further advised that boxers should be changed every day and the groin area should be well taken care of in order to prevent harmful bacteria which might find their ways into the body unnoticed.

    4. Anonymous 13:45 how old is your husband that he is having 'drop of urine in his boxers" & changes up to 4/day?
If he is 50 yrs & above, it is expected for some people bc of prostate issues. That drip drip drip of urine might be bc of a weak urine stream which is an indication of him not really emptying his bladder after urinating, caused by an enlarged prostate squeezing against the urethra hence narrowing the passage.
Advised to go see a doc if possible a urologist b4 it gets worse & mess up una sex life. A test will be ordered & he can be put on medication to shrink that prostate gland.

If he is below 50 and drip drip drip which should not be so, he should still go see a doc if.

    1. two days abi everyday. I will not allow my man to repeat boxers once i start dating or married to one. Just the way women do not repeat pant and bra on daily basis should also make men to change boxers on daily basis.

    1. I don't even wear a boxer twice. The moment I sleep and wake up with one, I change immediately after morning bath. It has been a habit to me that I wash my boxer every morning I take my bath at the bathroom.

    2. Teejay, prolly you should stop wearing boxer at night, that would give your private enough breather. Go for pyjamas.

You always want to sound like you live a life devoid of flaws. Nna the message has been passed and those it concerns would do the necessary so it’s of no use trying to stretch the issue and even trying to use yourself as a standard. Nawa oh

    5. @ Agadi, why are you taking out your life's frustration on Teejay? Free him and respect yourself.

  5. I don't even advice men to wear boxers more than once!

Many men don't clean the cap of their dick after peeing, so, why should they rewear a boxer that is already littered with small particles of pee.

Men, should wear their boxers just once and then wash

Boxers are too cheap and they shouldn't be seen as a luxury.

Some men don't know how to take care of their physical health/hygiene. They should learn to improve on that.

  6. As a man, I don't wear boxers, singlet or clothes twice before washing it. Once I get home, I wash my hands, pull every cloth I wear, put them in basket for wash and head to the bathroom to bath before any other thing.
Some guys wear boxers 1 week,
    Singlet 1 month,
Jeans 6 months before washing them.
As for black jeans , some don't wash it at all.

Please forgive my English I am not so good in english.my first five years on earth I lived with my Creole great grandma and coming to Nigeria my father saw me as too girlie for being clean friendly.
