TESTIMONY OF GODS FAITHFULNESS

Good day Stella.
This testimony is long overdue.

I wasn't born with a silver spoon, but I never lacked the basic things of life.
Everything was fine in my family till I lost my mum when I was thirteen. We are 9 children in number. Things went from bad to worse.

She died in an accident and my dad was driving, my dad survived, but six months later, he started acting funny, he had to be admitted in yaba psychiatric hospital.

Dad was bedridden for 4 years.

We did not lack anything, he still provided for us, but things were never the same.
My elder ones got into the university and at some point, I was the oldest, left to care for my four younger ones, I was sixteen then and in SS3. I would make sure breakfast and dinner was ready and also dish my dad's portion before going to school, and after school hours, I'll head to the market with my uniform to buy what we would prepare for dinner. We had no refrigerator, it was really tough.

When I got admission into the higher institution, during my first year, miraculously, my dad regained himself, I was over joyed cause I felt things will come back to normal and all will be well but things took a surprising turn.

After my second year in school, my dad bluntly told me that he would no longer train me in school.
He said I should forfeit my education, come home and take care of the home.

I couldn't understand it, cause the home was fine the first two years I was in school.

My loving father took a turn for the worst.
Even my relatives would not help because they feel my father is buoyant enough.

Temptations started coming from married men, very wealthy married men, I almost succumbed but I just couldn't. I couldn't imagine soiling myself because of mere money.

I remember a day to when the deadline for school fee payment would be over, I was just walking aimlessly and thinking to myself how the money would come, I saw one of my married toasters in front of zenith bank, he called me and asked me why I was looking so downcast, I explained my predicament to him and he promised to go back into the bank and give me 100 thousand naira, this is more than my fees but I must follow him to a hotel to spend the night.
I thought about it and bluntly refused.
He said I wasn't a smart girl and left.

The next day, miraculously, my aunt sent me my complete school fees hours before the portal closed.

I was so overjoyed and went to the school chapel to thank God, there was a program that day at the chapel and I decided to attend it, the pastor prophesied that someone in the congregation does not even know where their next meal would come from and prayed for divine Providence, I claimed the prayers and about some weeks later, my story changed.

I started getting monetary favours from left right and center, and they all came from strangers.

Let me explain these strangers... I was the Youth secretary then in my church and we had our maiden magazine publication, it featured pictures and phone numbers of all the executives (someone even paid for my slot in the magazine cause I could not afford the 500 naira levy) .
So I kept getting calls from random people and they would always ask for my account number to send me something as I was a student.

After my final year project and everything, I still had about 30,000 sitting in my account.
My dad and siblings till today are still shocked at how I made it through school.

I just want to encourage someone with this my testimony that there is still God and he comes in when every other person has gone out.
Thank you Father.

my rant has nothing to do with the post but it reminded me of something...

Some of you keep giving testimonies of not agreeing to sleep with men for money but end up sleeping with men for nothing and get messed up and some end up as baby mamas and keep thanking God....its all the same thing!..or you expect someone who has slept with someone for money to bless you with that money whilst you save your kinikan?

MADAM TOK TOK DON LAND

VIOLENCE ON CHILDREN

Correcting a child is very important because when you spare the rod you are ready to spoil the child. However correction should not turn violent and become an abuse on the child. Violence on children could be physical, mental or more. Do not use the rod on a child for the wrong you believe he would do in advance.

Whenever you beat a child to the extent that he has a major injury, where you have to take the child to the hospital that is an abuse on the child. Why should a child have a scar due to correction? It is dangerous to beat a child while you are angry as you may not be able to control yourself. I was using the pressing iron and cooking at the same time the other day. I went to the kitchen to check what I was cooking; my 3 years old had placed the pressing iron on the cloth and left it like that. Of course the cloth got burnt, I knew I would be late for the meeting and I was so angry. Just then my elder sister walked in, when I explained to her what happened, she calmed me down and explained I was also at fault to have left the pressing iron on and when I left the place.

Sometimes you have to think carefully before correcting a child. You might have your own faults too. Don’t be too angry correcting a child and you end up in a court of law prosecuted for assault.

Misunderstandings in marriages are inevitable but it is important that the children are not always present when the heat is on. It is important that the mental health of children are protected. Children should not carry a mentality at a young age that mummy or daddy is a bad person, it would affect their mindset. A child is mentally abused when he is traumatized by the domestic violence and misunderstanding happening between his parents.

Some of these children end up been damaged on the inside. It’s our duty to protect them physically and mentally.

ADVICE ON WHAT TO DO WITH MONEY NEEDED

I need advice on what to do. People has been advising me that a car is necessary for my kind of job. I am a professional but basically all my savings came from my personal jobs. I am presently without job and I can still do some work but I don’t know if it’s advisable to get a car this period. I have about 2.1m in my acct and I still live with my folks or I should start planning to leave Nigeria after this lockdown to further my education.

School abroad where?that money is nothing if you change it to another currency....

    4. On what to do with money, with that amount of money u can't successfully finish a course in the abroad but if u are young and single, after the lockdown u can start to process a canadian express entry or PNP, I think that amount of money is enough for what u need in the bank for a single person. Then from there u can choose ur next step

      Delete
    5. Anon 14:34, I don't think that amount is enough...... Isn't it supposed to be about 3.5? Well, I agree to your advice that she should start processing PNP or express entry though

  20. Poster of money needed!!!

You have 2.1 million from personal job, and you are thinking of buying car.
    Don't try it oo.

Can meet up with car maintenance? Fueling? Servicing?

Remember you said you don't have a job too.

But if the professional job you do fetch you at least #50k-100k a month, then you can get a car of 1milla at most 1.2million.

About furthering your studies; Masters or PHD?.

Apply for scholarship and see how it goes because 2.1milli will not be enough for processing, and other fees you will pay over there.

Why not still continuing with your professional job, save more and see if you can invest right here in Nigeria..

  34. Car and abroad.
Mmm These are the two things Nigerians worship a lot.
Did you read that sign out box -Galatians 6:7?
Why not sow into that your "personal talent" that is
generating income and reap more savings?
A lot of you who haven't traveled out, have a warped sense of this abroad of a place.
If you have gone to multiple countries outside Nigeria especially from 2016, you will
understand how drastically the world is changing with regard to migration/study.

    1. Taaaar, if anybody have the means and want to travel let them travel and stop discouraging them. Just a "MENIAL" job in the abroad is enough for survival minus child support o, talkless of when u go school and secure a job with your certificate. People just want a system that works, but in Nigeria he can end up spending the whole 2.1m without still having anything to show for it, if he finally have a business that is ok, u will see different tax and revenue office coming to collect their weekly/monthly dues with that their photocopy letters that they share

  38. Some of you need to chill the fuck out. What is your stress with who BVs decide to vote for in the competition?
Must everybody see beauty through your eyes?

If people want to vote their friends, let em.
If people want to vote popular BVs, let em.
If people want to vote their village people, let em.
Enough with the policing. Vote yours and keep it moving.

The competition should be fun and lighthearted, you people should not taint it with your negative vibes cos it's upsetting me and my homegirls. 🙄🙄

  49. I would like to use this medium to thank Engr.Ayyub as well as Stella for putting up this amazing blog. May the creator of the heavens and earth continue to bless you.

I have always been skeptical about people helping those they don't know from Adam, until those two up there made me a believer.

Stella posted in IHN that Engr.Ayyuba wanted to support some families with Ramadan giveaway and I jumped at the opportunity by sending him a mail. He replied immediately he got the mail and ask that I send account details ( he is aware of whose account I sent).

The recipients called me immediately they got the money and they have been praying for him. May Allah in His infinite mercy bless you for your kind gestures and may He reward you in this life and the hereafter. May He accept your act of Ibadan and also forgive your shortcomings in this auspicious month of Ramadan. Jazakallahu khair.

  54. Stella you spoke the right words to those that always say they refused to sleep with married men because of money but go ahead to sleep with young guys for nothing . All sin na sin, i will say is better you sin and gain something than to sin and gain nothing.

I disagree with Stella and I disagree with you!!

Maybe I don't want to cause another woman heartbreak because I want to pay my school fees. If I sleep with my boy friend maybe it's because body no be fire wood, and I dictate the terms for giving my body to anybody.

Keep sleeping with married men if you wish, but respect my decision not to!!

And I am not the poster!

Person say na who I go give my p**y be this, back dey pain another person. Abeg.

Thank God for you. I hope you also learnt a lesson from your story. 'DON'T GIVE BIRTH TO PLENTY CHILDREN'.

Of you all were just two or three kids, you would not pass through what you passed through.
Btw, hope you are not sleeping with any man who has not paid your bride price?
Like Stella said, you girls will refuse sleeping with married men for money yet you will be receiving raw sperm from your boyfriends and doing abortions in some cases. Biko, is that not a waste of sin?

    1. Who told you people with just 2 or 3 kids don't face hardships? Some experience a downturn in business or life so stop stereotyping biko.

You don't even know if the girl is a virgin, you already are insinuating she sleeps with her boyfriend. Nonsense
