  2. 20 hours of phone call in the US costs almost 3k dollars? Now I understand what my friend always tells me that cell phone ownership in the States is a huge liability.
    Things are so cheap in Nigeria.

      And does it truly sound plausible to you that 20 hours of phone call would amount to $3K? Phone bills are usually a fixed monthly amount, depending on the plan you get and comes with unlimited call, text and 2G data. If your friend, decided to finance her phone with her carrier, that's when the price would increase and if she gets an expensive phone, she could be paying up to $100 per month.
