  6. This is not the time to be around these two. They're power hungry, they can do and undo right now.
People should stay far away from them.

  10. Obaseki is a loser.
You don't fight the forces that brought you to power.
    Ask Ambode.

    1. Even if obaseki does not return, I love what he did to oshiomole. Obaseki refused to be his puppet and that's his anger.
What did oshiomole to do Anenih?
Same Ize Iyamu he messed up and disgraced is who he wants to replace Obaseki with?
Edo people are tired of Oshiomole.

    2. Sluttychic , you are very right
He even called ize iyamu a thief and now that ize iyamu has switched to APC ,ize iyamu is the best .osho is a very stupid man

    3. Are you for real?.. And then tomorrow we blame corrupt officials. So you would prefer he kept dancing to the tune of the man who brought him in, and not work?.. Obaseki has done well, its only a pity that the people of Edo state want their personal gain from power, rather than the betterment of the state.

    4. And to think Oshomole was assumed to be fighting for the masses when he was the NLC chairman, his true character and intents came to bear the moment he became a politician. This shows he’s been fighting for himself all along.

  11. Oshiomole will lose out because Obaseki will prefer to lose to another party but not to Oshiomole. Apc might not have a candidate in the coming election. Oshiomole is a selfish, evil man. He silenced godfathers during his tenure and wants to be one to Obaseki

    1. I don't think Oshomole would loose, because majority of the masses have little political literacy, and then most of the party members are against Obaseki because he didn't play to their tune. Obaseki is a person that when there's a contract, he'd give the best man for the job, not necessarily indigenes who might squander it (as per son of the soil, I.e their money), so that is what they are against.

  12. There should be a law, if you've been Governor, you can't contest again. All these people are just concerned about their pockets.

  13. The people of Edo state should be able to decide that!
If Obaseki has been good to the people, I believe they will re-elect him.

Oshiomole should please allow law and order.

  14. Osho has the mumu button of the masses.
Meaning anybody he endorses will win.
Reason why Ize-iyamu defected to APC.

  15. Am sure Oshiomole is gonna win as APC runs

  16. Fact is obaseki, just like Ambode, did not have the right strategy. You are a product of godfatherism so unless you have completely destroyed you maker, he will destroy you. Oshiomole defeated a godfather but has made himself one. He defeated Anenih but has turned out worse. Obaseki should have endured oshiomole's excesses till after he had secured the party's ticket but he made the costly mistake of being impatient. Obaseki did not complain of Godfatherism when he was unduly favoured above other but now that is it time to pay the price of the pounded yam he has been eating, he is saying there wasn't enough meat in the stew.

Ize Iyamu may be the one to humble Oshiomole since he is a grassroots politician with a large following especially in Benin. He has also been in both camps so he would be a unifying factor for some politicians provided he develops a fair "sharing formula". That way, he won't have a strong PDP opposition.

Obaseki's only hope is if Edo APC are tired of Oshiomole's dictatorship. Since he can't decamp as APC chairman, they can just vote Obaseki at the primaries, disgrace Oshiomole and straight to the guber elections. It is unlikely though since Oshiomole chose virtually all of them. Remember how that helped Fayemi with a comeback in Ekiti- those who voted at the primaries were chosen by fayemi when he was in power and they just kept formation till when he came back. Those who were cheated for Obaseki to be favoured have also not forgotten and would be working hard to disgrace the former golden boy of they have not already left for PDP. This is gbasgbos that will go on for a few months and we'll be here watching.

Ambode, tell Obaseki to call you.

    1. You see?, see how you've taken corruption as a norm. Then again, Ambode's case is totally different from what's happening in Edo.

  17. The problem now is that the party will always stand with oshiomole. If they decide to do the direct primary, obaseki is gone cos the few people loyal to him are not as much as the ones loyal to the party.

  18. Oshiomole is a fighter....
Obaseki did not use wisdom in dealing with him....
He should have played along...get 2nd term ticket with Oshiomole's support...before revolting..
