    2. Sam Clef is always in the news for clout..I have never seen a bitter guy like him..Always ready to spite people..

    3. Those who stuck by him were angels but remember it's not easy to stand for so long with a person that is on an auto-selfdistruct mode.
No one owes you nothing. You owe yourself all the accountability and responsibility so you can't blame anyone when even you have failed your ownself.

Rest in Peace weatherman. They don't make artists like you anymore. So we are privileged to have had you.

  2. If I was his family I’d issue out a serious warning around to celebrities no one should dare post his photo for sympathy else I would sue!

    1. I detest how some people show fake sympathy it infuriates me .

    2. Exactly. They don't appreciate/show love when one is alive, but the minute the person dies, different profile pics up and down, updating status anyhow, inspirational posts about how the person inspired them to be bla bla bla. May he rest in peace.

    3. To what end?? Will it bring him back??

In life, no one owes you anything my dear..... No one!!!

    4. Cookie, since you owe him nothing why use his death to fake useless sympathy? The saying “no one owes you anything is wrong! Very wrong!

    5. How's that fake sympathy?? The people we don't know here that we mourn with them, is it fake sympathy?? Y'all need to relax abeg!!

  3. It might be true Stella, especially these new ones that do not even understand what real music is, and refused to listen to their history teacher 😎

    3. Legend is the most abused word in Naija area

    4. @ Phoenix, you can add Queen and strong woman/girl to the list.

    5. Isn't he a legend?? What should they have done? Ignored?

    6. He deserves the word legend because he was.

    7. Instagram has started already ( Dino melane).

  5. Most times it depends on the listeners. Nigerian youth dont have taste for good music. So they just go with trending music that actually sound like trash

  6. But then we saw almost all of them calling him a legend and writing RIP to him, This life ehh.

Some people will travel far distance for someone's burial but will not lend a happying hand when the need arise..

    2. Chisom, most of the people writing these endearing words just copy what people are saying/writing! Majority would be playing his songs for the first time today...

    3. May we never find ourselves in situations where we'd be needing help from wicked/stingy people, Amen.

  7. Wow! So the rain maker is dead! No light to listen to news. May his soul RIP.....amen

  8. His music videos were played extensively when his music was ruling the airwaves. There is a time and season for everything. He is a legend. Videos of legends are always available on YouTube for those who crave for them. These accusations are baseless.

    1. Thank you ooooh!!

I don't even get it.... So, if it doesn't meet standard and against the company's policy, they should play it because??

At the end of the day, we are hypocrites abeg!!! We are the same people that say No one owes you anything, yet we are castigating people... SMH

If people don't post his pictures, una go still complain, there's no winning with y'all!!

      RIP majek

  9. What a sad news.
I am one person that regard the entire Nigerian entertainment
industry as a huge assemblage of hypocrites. You will see them in
social media doing what they know best; using his death for their
    selfish publicity.

  10. This life eh! My prayer daily is for God to bless me so I can be a blessing to others! What's the need of the money one have if you are not impacting positively in people's lives? Helping those in need at the right time👌👌

  11. Why wait till now before posting this, all of you are the same, oju aye ni gbogbo yin nse. They only celebrate the dead and can go to any length to support the burial, but if the same support was given during the person lifetime, may be he or she would have lived longer.

May his soul rest in peace.

  13. Very sad. This one that some persons even need to be settled before they can play some songs and videos, now they will be doing it for free. This life sef!

  14. This should be a lesson to the young musicians. Whatever money you have now, invest it, buy properties, buy shares. All these cars you people are buying up and down will be nothing at the long run.

    1. I totally agree with you. They think that the money lasts forever. Your fame may last but the money is only for a while. Imagine my shock seeing one of the Boys to Men guys at a check out counter at Home Depot.

Majek was larger than life. He made plenty money in 1990’s money when naira was N4/$1. He was a legit millionaire in dollar terms but he blew it all. Even if you like play his music on constant rotation, still wouldn’t have given him more than $300 monthly.

Burna Boy better take note. If you don’t have generational money like Davido, stop the pasmaga

    2. @ Tynu exactly. Apart from all these, live a responsible and healthy life. This is no guarantee to long life but It is important not to get carried away with fame.

At the end of the day, everyone has got their own problems.

      May his soul RIP.

  17. Let's stop the chants when someone dies. You either live or die. Majek has lived his life. ThankGod he lived up till this time. At list he had the time to amend his ways before leaving this world. I know someone that died at 59 without sickness or any terminal illness. what matters most is how you spend your life here on earth. RIP Majek

  20. The rain maker @ Majek may God rest your soul and console your family and loved ones.

  21. Must they help him? He was an oadult/mature man for crying out loud!!! There must of necessisty need for self-discipline and accountability which is most financial. Africans and Nigerians artistesmust learn to provide for their today and tomorrow including sickness, biko. There is nothing wrong for seeking help from colleagues but one must know they also have their own problems too which comes first. Accusing others or trading blames does not hold waater here. And this keeps happening in the industry without artistes learning to manage their finances.

  24. Samklef is just a troublemaker. Always looking for how to start a controversy. Please how much did he contribute to helping Majek? How close was he to Majek to know that nobody helped him? Please make yourself more useful to yourself and leave other people's problems when you can not make any impact yourself. Stop spreading bitterness to every other person. God bless you.
