Nigerians Totalling 370 Scheduled For Deportation From The US For Committing Various Crimes

Over 370 Nigerians have been reportedly scheduled for deportation from the US after being found guilty of breaking immigration laws and other crimes, data from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) shows.

Data obtained from the ICE and compiled in a June report by a global tracking website on government policy, TRAC, says 376 Nigerians, who mainly resided in Texas, New Jersey, California, New York and others, were served court orders to leave the U.S. between January and June, having been convicted of immigration and criminal charges.

According to the data made available to Premium Times, 335 of the Nigerians violated immigration laws including unlawful entry into the country, overstayed visas, fake documents and many others, while about 41 of them have criminal records of aggravated felonies such as fraud, drug crimes, sex and firearms offences.

*Returning them to Nigeria to continue with their crimes in frustration? Why cant they serve time there and remain here? When they win awards and make headways they keep them,so why return them when it is otherwise?

  1. Why should people who entered into a country without visa or overstayed their visas be allowed to stay?
The last time I said it here, I was hounded. Nigerians fake everything including their ages. What a shame.
Look at how every country is rejecting Nigerians. It isn't getting better. Every time I read this blog I see people filled with greed and inordinate affections and skewed sense of existence. 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

  3. When in this blog, a lady wrote in (happened severally) that she "divorced" her husband so that he can marry another and
get papers and come back to re-marry her, were not almost all ladies here hailing her?
That is immigration fraud and the ICE is smoking them out. This vain "abroad at all cost" mentality is undoing a lot of Nigerians.
People are playing chess with their marital covenant and they don't know that it is a grievous sin before God.

  5. They return them because keeping them in the country comes at a cost to taxpayers. Prisons are run with resources naa. And taxpayers have a say of what their money is used for. Keeping someone who won award comes at no cost to the govt, it's even beneficial to them. USA is a powerful country cos they are smart like that. Anyways, I doubt if the deportees are coming home soon. They have rights to challenge deportation. (Don't know if the law still holds sha). So some of them usually go to court and only return to Nigeria when they lose the case. But that's if you have the money for a good lawyer and a good reason for overstaying the visa.

    1. Every country allows immigrants to go to court and the court allows them challenge or appeal court cases. That's no biggie NiB.

    2. It’s a good thing you said uncle and not father. He doesn’t owe you anything. Stupid entitlement mentality. Did you send him to America? Even if you did, do you know how he’s managing his life there? So he should be packing money to send to you??? If you ever travel to the states and see how Many bills people have to pay you will drop this entitlement mentality. Hustle your own, he is not your father or mother or child. He owes you nothing.

How many times have you sent something to your uncle when you know anyone visiting the US? Ure a complete idiot, some of you don't know what people abroad go through and very unappreciative with the little they manage to give you.

    3. Naa. Texas is top on the list oh. That place camps almost all the illegal immigrants in the whole of US combined.
I know a lady that told them at the embassy that she was divorced and used it to enter US They flagged her passport at the point of entry in the US cos she kind of had issues with connecting flights and they asked her some questions. She wasn’t ready for the answers and misyarned. The husband in question used someone to get his stay but now they have both reconnected.
Infact dem plenty for that Texas.

  9. If Nigeria were a country that cared about it's reputation and the hard working Nigerians abroad that are making thier living honestly and making Nigeria proud. All of these idiots/morons/oloriburuku/onyochi/bachau Nigerians that are deported should be locked up in jail with hard labour and their families pay for the incacceration.

  10. Na wa. Now US system has changed. It is not ready to accommodate anyhow people. They are not even ready to start issuing visas to anyone at this point. Those with issues are OYO. I just think it’s right to get your shit together legally. All this walking and looking back for fear of the unknown doesn’t make any sense.
