Actress Ada Ameh Says She Does Not Regret Having A Child At 14 Years

WOW....A mum at 14!

According to the Benue State-born thespian,
“I can never regret having my child at 14. God forbid! The truth is that the ways of God are so different from the ways of man. Just imagine me at this age if I am not married and don’t have a child. I am not saying marriage is the ultimate but we both know what I am talking about. I am a feminist but I am not that type of woman that would not love to have a man. Being a feminist doesn’t mean that there shouldn’t be a man. As a Christian, submitting yourself to your man doesn’t make you a fool,” she said.

On her relationship, the star has admonished celebrities who flaunt their love lives on social media to have a rethink. “My partner and I have been together for five years. We do have our hiccups but we are so happy together. He is my best friend, and yes, he is in the entertainment industry. But I will never bring out our relationship onto the media. I can’t be advertising him on the billboard.

I don’t believe in social media love. A man would always be a man. They are polygamous in nature. Why flaunt a man that might be sleeping with someone else or even your best friend? When you are legally married, you can put up photos of you there. I still believe celebrities can make good marriages.

There are lots of people to look up to and get inspired. I am a one-man kind of woman. I can fight you if I find out that you are cheating, because I love you so much. I am that kind of woman,” Ameh revealed.

    1. Awwwn...14! Ada Ameh is a survivor of child molestation and sexual violation. And some people want to believe this vice started today. We only hear more of it these days , thanks to social media. Thank God it didn't destroy her completely. Many never come out of it whole. Oh! My heart bleeds for the unprotected girl-child all over Nigeria.

Let's do what we can to protect the girl-child and her future.

  2. “Most” pple searching for the fruit of the womb had one wish or many wises in mind “ I wish I had not aborted my first pregnancy “.
I love Yoruba culture for this, they don’t discriminate having kids outside wedlock, Ibos I hate my pple for this. Shaving family name is more important to them than committing murder( abortion) yet na we get Catholic Church pass o! Asiko hisssssss.
God bless all the women who had mind to keep and care for there kids irrespective of d Shame society gave them

    1. You are not Igbo please!! An Igbo person does not say "Ibo". Guys y'll should stop with this tribalistic shit. Genevieve and many others are Igbos and they were not forced to abort. Many years ago one Nollywood actress got pregnant and the man did not want to marry her, like many other young unmarried girls she contemplated abortion but Patience Ozorkwo helped to discourage her from doing that and took her in, took care of her until she gave birth. Is Patience Ozorkwo not an Igbo woman? So no young Yoruba girl commits abortion? One man's character does not represent other people's. If your family enables abortion not every Igbo family supports it. What Igbo families teach their children is against premarital sex. There are many Igbo women that kept and had their babies even when they found out that their marriages won't work, like Uche Ogbodo. Please stop stereotyping tribes.

  3. I believe her. I have a friend who gave birth at 13 her daughter is married now and have kids. She is already a grandma in her 30s and feels so good about it.
I am sure Adah Ameh just like my friend would have felt bad when it happened back then but looking back now, she is really grateful and feels happy she kept it because now, she has realised it is worth it.
I, however, do have a contrary opinion about the reason she wouldn't want to flaunt her man. Don't flaunt him if you aren't the type and love your privacy but if the reason you aren't flaunting is due to fear of him being exposed as a cheat. Then that's illogical if you ask me. Shouldn't you want to know if he had a few things in his closet if you don't trust him enough because according to you he is a 'man'?

    1. I always love your viewpoint

For me, I don't fancy all that social media flaunting of a man that hasn't wedded you.
      She acts so well

    2. I miss her acting, I don't know why they don't call her for movie roles any more. This woman acts so well especially her pidgin English characters. I miss her so bad, back in the day when Nollywood had not been hijacked by scavengers.
