DeleteThis one weak me. "Thick yoruba accent" as if its something to be ashamed of. Low self esteem is bad. Have you heard a Russian speak English, or an Italian speak English, its heavily accented yet most consider it sexy.
DeleteMadam pls concentrate on building your child's self esteem, help her discover and nurture her talent, or intellectual prowess via fanning her curiosity and desire to learn new things. English is not our mother tongue and she can always learn it in school.
My kids and I speak mostly our native language at home,yet none of my children has ever scored below 95% in English. They love reading anything readable, both in English,French and our native language.
Please allow your child be a child. What is important is that she learns to Express herself confidently, if "backhead" pain am then blackhead pain.😅😅
