Nigerian Army Dismisses 300 Soldiers For Desertion And BVN Inconsistency

Dismiss just like that? What will be their new sources of livelihood?Hmmmm Dangerous if you ask me!!

The Nigerian Army has dismissed over 300 soldiers from service for deserting the Operation Lafiya Dole counter-insurgency campaign in the North-East and going away without leave, among other allegations.

Investigations by The Punch revealed that the men were disengaged by their unit commanders between 2015 and 2016.

Findings showed that some of the soldiers were also discharged for certificate forgery, age fraud, inconsistent Bank Verification Number and other conduct deemed inappropriate by the various unit commanders.

  3. If you check the names of those dismissed. They will be predominantly Christians. What a country. One thing is sure. Nothing lasts forever.

  4. Why won't they desert the operation?
A family friend was made to stay for months in the middle of the desert, without supplies,
And even when the wife will send dry meat, it will be rotten by the time it
gets there. when ammunition were sent to them, boko boys will "intercept them on time." Just like someone was
spilling to them where and when to wait for "the supplies" and the soldiers guarding the supplies will just
    run away.
Tell me, no food, no ammo, what will the soldier be doing in the desert, waiting to die?
Let no one come here and tell me it was the previous administration o?
It happened in this very one.

  8. My cousin has a friend whose brother is a soldier up north. The soldier guy and his friends steal cars and sell down in the south. The guy spilled to his brother one day when he got drunk. You can imagine if he is among this number, an full time robbery be that.
