The ban was imposed by the Federal Government.
The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika revealed that the ban will take effect from Monday, September 21, 2020. This was disclosed via a tweet posted on his official handle on the micro-blogging site, Twitter.
Also barred are Cabo Verde and South African airlines which were denied approval for flights into Nigeria; mainly on the grounds that international flights were yet to resume in their countries.
