How can a government be this insensitive to its people?
Loss of jobs, taxex upon taxes,oh God.
Thank God Buhari is the president,if not some school of thought wouldn't believe how horrible his government would have been if he wasn't elected.

    1. I have been thinking so too. They make governance difficult for Johnathan and made him look incompetent. Now, their true colours have shown. Bunch of hypocrites and deceivers. Naira is almost 500 to a dollar yet they're still portraying Bubu to be the best thing to have been discovered after sliced bread.
We are all in it together.

  8. What kind of wicked government is this sef? People cannot afford basic needs and the only thing this wicked government can do is to increase fuel price? Truly, this life no balance.

  9. Haahaahaa, shebi Bubu was just talking how shocked he was at rising food prices. Despite the taxes, Herdsmen attack on farmers, increasing fuel price etc,he is still shocked,ok naa

Ohhh how our leaders have sold their conscience to the devil
And more painful is that na social Media e go end.
We would still queue up to buy at 200 naira self.
    God punish them
    May they never know peace
God would pay them for the children dying of hunger, the poor man who commits suicide while they continue to steal
God would repay. In Jesus name

  15. Not surprised at all. I have been waiting for them to come up with nonsense since BBN started. They always use the show to divert attention and before you know it, devilish policies have been implemented, but at at the same time it was happening, BBN was dragging headlines with them, and as usual, most Nigerians are more concerned with the BBN show,.. their eyes only open back when the show ends.. walah! Too late by then..

Nonsense country filled with many useless people.. It still baffles me how one could vote for that Mr lifeless as a president.. and it's more disappointing and hard to believe that a short dwarf professor of law agreed to be his deputy..

    Rubbish country

  16. I am convinced now that the reason why IBB toppled his govt is not farfetched. I am sure IBB knew what he was doing when he overthrew his govt. The same hardship experienced in that dispensation is the same we are facing now. We had Goodluck whose govt was a bit fair but chose to opt for this Badluck President.

    1. When the government kept saying they have removed fuel subsidy and fuel will now be sold according to the prevailing cost of crude oil you were all sleeping shey. Better be prepared to buy fuel @ above 200. Even those who live abroad where they have never bought subsidised fuel are insulting the government. Personally l am tired of hearing about subsidies, every administration since 1999 sing with subsidy. Make them remove all subsidies, we go survive

  23. The number of comments on this piece is reflection of the society. It shows what we take seriously as a people. Just look at the number of comments on the Erica gist and look at the ones here. It tells you that the youths, which make up the larger percentage of the society, don't even know what they want apart from the "get rich through any means but legit syndrome" it's the reason why the government can act anyhow they like and get away with it because all they'll get as opposition from the youths is maybe 50 comments from SM.
    I weep for this country.
