The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has revealed the identities of suspected police officers involved in the brutality of #EndSARS protesters in Area C, Surulere, Lagos State.

Apart from the police brutality and harassment that occurred during the protes 55-year-old Ikechukwu Iloamauzor also lost his life when he was hit by a stray bullet during Monday’s #EndSARS protest in Surulere, Lagos.

The governor noted that four officers have been arrested in connection with the incident.

He identified the policemen as two inspectors and two sergeants.

The governor said, “Also, to mention that Lagos State is taking the issue of police misconduct very seriously, earlier this week, we all recall the incident that happened at the Area C command in Surulere.

“All the four officers have been identified and are going through an orderly trial.

“All the four erring officers whose name I will also mention have also been apprehended and are going through an orderly trial. They are Inspector Bagou Michael, Inspector Ekpoudom Etop, – Sergeant Nnamdi Madura, and Sergeant Akinyemi Benson.

“We have also set up a panel to look into all cases of police brutality and fatality and have set up a N200m compensation fund. Once again, I apologise to any protester that has faced brutality during any of the protests days.

  3. Since they don't treat an issue until it becomes a problem.. We'll teach them what governance is about.
Anyone who refuses to learn lessons from history would definitely learn the hard way from his experience..

Protest continues.. if you can't be on the street, the least you could do is to continue to retweet aggressively.. things must change.. we can't keep running away from the country, we can't keep taking all the bullshit thrown on us.. we can't continue to engage in illegal stuffs cos we feel it's our only hope.., imagine asking one to accout for how the monies in his ministry was spent and he is fainting.. telling us trash about snake swallowing monies, is that supposed to be funny?.. Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) should be ashamed of themselves..
We're coming for all of you.. Nigerian youths, Let's keep the flame burning..

    We attack at sunrise..

  4. Things must get better by force. Y'all can't keep damaging the economy, treating us like trash, calling us lazy when we work much more than we are earning and pushing us into illegal things cos you just can't do the job that we've paid you to do.

Judgement day must come by force! It's enough!
