Pastor Tunde Bakare Says SARS Is ‘State-Aided Robbery Squad’ And Encourages The Youths To Keep Hope Alive..

Pastor Tunde Bakare,The Serving Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church( formerly known as Latter Rain Assembly) has defined the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) as ‘State-Aided Robbery Squad’.

During his Sunday sermon, the cleric claimed that “although the Special Anti-Robbery Squad has been disbanded, the spirit of SARS continues to prowl unchecked.”

Bakare, who is also the Convener of Save Nigeria Group (SNG), also sympathized with the family of victims of the Lekki toll gate shooting which happened last Tuesday.

He encouraged the youths in the country to keep hope alive, as the New Nigeria is within reach.

“This is not the nation we hope to bequeath to our children. We will build this nation, not upon the altar of the blood of our young people, but on their visions and aspirations.

“I am confident that we can end the brutalisation of our people, put an end to the State-Aided Robbery Squad, and begin the process of nation-building,” Bakare said.
It is time to turn the stumbling blocks of our past into stepping stones to our future.”

  2. According to his member who totally disagreed with the building of the new church auditorium , Pastor Tunde Bakare had:
    1. said years ago that Akilo Road was where God told him to build a church when he came to pick his mother who fell down on that road.
    2. condemned another church for building a 50,000 capacity church building

    3. But Pastor Bakare spent N13bn to build new church instead of building a mega hospital

4.N560m to IMPORT 5,200 new seats which contributes to capital flight instead of giving local furniture makers in his church the job of producing the seats.

"Do we need capital flight as the person that talks about the economy of Nigeria, giving indices of how we can turn it around?".... church member
