  1. No matter how low you think the Nigerian government will go, they're willing to go even lower.

It's not even a matter of incompetence. They're just extremely wicked😫🤦🏽‍♂️

  3. WHEN YOU KNOW YOUR SEASON.

“To everything, there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven” Ecclesiastes 3:1, NKJV.

My favorite season is Spring because nothing compares to enduring a harsh Winter and then being rewarded with new life and green all around. But no matter how much I enjoy watching the flowers bloom, I can’t demand the earth to remain in this wonderful season all year long. It is inevitable that the season will change.

In life, there are seasons when we must sow and seasons when we must reap a harvest. There are seasons when we pour into others and seasons when we must allow ourselves to be poured into. There are seasons of preparation, and seasons when God says, Ok, now it is time for you to do meet with your purpose and destiny. The important thing is for us to know what season God has us in, and we find this out by asking, “Father, what season am I in right now? Show me Lord, and help me to receive your grace to make the most of this season of my life.”

When you know what season you are in, you won’t look at what someone else is experiencing and feel down and discouraged. You’ll know a change of seasons is coming because you understand your times and seasons are in God’s hands and He is good!

  4. We didn't sleep last night, Apo is not safe at the moment. I can't even breath properly at the moment cause of how my heart kept skipping at the slightest noise or dog bark in the night. Many shops, cars and lives were burnt yesterday by some miscreants. Please pray for us living here. The worst part is that the road has been blocked- no entrance and no exit.
The military came yesterday but they were at the road not into the street while most of the miscreants ran into the street threatening we the residents. Everybody was on alert, the guys in my area had to be security guards last night. They were all outside with matchets and dogs last night. I thank God we're alive this morning.

    2. I wonder too. Hopefully someone working in the HR can explain below.

      Delete
    3. Sorry about the discrimination.

But not all the Nigerian employers discriminate. When I resigned in my last place of work as a pregnant married woman, my boss didn't want me to go, he was a good man, and ready to increase my salary for me to stay. So I believe it's not all of them.

      Delete
    4. It is all about profiling. They believe that all pregnant women are in a vulnerable (mostly true) state and may not give in their best..They tend to believe that this slows down productivity..But they are very wrong...Companies should encourage flexi time for pregnant and nursing mothers...And most private organisation should establish creches even the BIG NAMES don't have and it's very sad...As an intending HR, I will advocate for Flexi working time and putting up a lil creche for nursing mothers so they can give all their best...

However if you have a good line manager who understands your potentials and flaws he can be able to leverage on that to help in motivating you so you can be very productive...

    5. Thank you for this Phoenix.

This is how it should be and I refused to be discouraged. I love making my own money and I must make it big in Jesus' name. Amen.

Yesterday's ENDSARS protest at Ughelli was something else. Motorists had a herculean time going thru and there was massive traffic build up at the Isoko garage axis. Vehicles coming from other cities like Port Harcourt and Onitsha were stuck in traffic.

  22. *#ENDSARS*

    *At this rate...*

    - The Federal Government may declare another *lockdown* in the guise of either #COVID-19 or State of Emergency.

    - We are likely to see the soldiers on the streets of cities, mainly in Southern Nigeria.

    - Buhari may leave for exile. There are already rumours that he's left already. I doubt it though.

    - All banks may be shut down starting from tomorrow, 20th Oct, 2020

    - The internet may be shutdown soon. I heard the mobile networks are already bracing for that.

    - This whole thing may drag on for a while. Don't think it may not.

    *What to do?*

    1) Try to stock your house with food and beverages.

    2) Top up your mobile phone(s). This is key, as the banks and other service providers may not be able to restock.

    3) With the story of hacking everywhere, don't ignore number 2 above. Already, it is becoming difficult to top up from the banks.

    4) If you just got free credits from Airtel, convert it to data *NOW!!!*

    5) Fill up your car and generator tanks with fuel. Petroleum Marketers may join the protests soon!!!

Even if they don't, with the possibility of a fresh lockdown or *State of Emergency*, who will sell fuel for you?

    6) Top up your NEPA card. If we are lucky, the workers won't join this.

    7) Go and withdraw enough cash and keep now. In the following weeks, *Transfer* or digital money won't help anybody. Go! Do it now!

    8) Pray. Keep praying. Don't stop praying. This may drag on for weeks or months.

    9) Share this. You owe it to a better Nigeria.

You do not need anyone to tell you how to behave right. It is your responsiblity because it is assumed every BV is mature.
