  2. Affirm His Truth In Faith!!

    1 John 5:4.

    Excerpts!!

"You’re to stand your ground in faith, irrespective of the challenges and hardships in today’s world"

"Train your faith with the Word to prevail against the odds and adversities of life"

"Refuse to give up or give in to the pressures around you"

    Confessions!!

I’m strong in faith and in the grace that’s in Christ Jesus. I speak victory, prosperity, health, strength, and courage always,

for greater is He that’s in me, than he that’s in the world. The Word of God has taken full possession and expression in me, through my spirit, soul, and body. Hallelujah!

  4. YOUR WORSHIP IS NOT CONDITIONAL.

“God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality)” John 4:24, Amplified.

The children of Israel gladly praised the Lord after they crossed the Red Sea. They gave God glory after they saw how He delivered them from the Egyptian army. The challenge came when they walked through the wilderness. They began to lose heart, lose faith and their joy in believing. God allowed them to go through the wilderness to show them their heart. But because of Jesus, we have a new heart and a new mind. He doesn’t take us through the wilderness to try our hearts, we go through and it proves the supernatural presence of a God truly resides in us. Because of Jesus, you have a different spirit. You are not like the Israelites who lost faith and confidence in God the moment things became difficult. Your worship is not conditional. It’s not based on whether He answers your prayers. It’s based on Him being your Lord and King. For that, I honor you, my sister.

    Thank You Lord for life.

I'm thinking of buying two weeks old chickens and raising them for sale during Christmas. But I'm a bit scared they may not grow big enough. Please anyone who has raised chickens within this short timeframe should advice me. And what can I give them to make them grow big.

    1. It's already late.. It would be 6 weeks and natural disaster can happen..

    2. You should've bought 4week old chicks since like July/August & fed them with feeds & injections.. they would've yielded very well. It's just few weeks to Christmas/new year, you can't from baby chicks. But if you are able to get chicks, rear them & sell during Easter instead.

      Goodluck💕

You would have started earlier like three months.

    4. Why not instead buy from wholesale price from a poultry farmer and groom them for Christmas..Buying day chicks should be a long term investment if you ask me..

  6. Kano police destroys 1.9million bottles of beer worth N200m- according to various news sources.
Some people somewhere owned this 1.9million bottles of beer. This is somebody's sweat we're talking about. The constitution of Nigeria does not forbid the selling and drinking of alcohol. Alcohol is produced and various taxes remited to the consolidated zoo account in Abuja for onward transfer to various organs of state in Nigeria. Kano state in particular gets more money from the VAT et al from alcohol than any other state. Yet, these riffraffs confiscate our bottles and destroy them all in the name of religious fanaticism.
Why exactly should we have Sharia law in Nigeria when we supposedly run a secular state? Why should we always be made to walk on egg shells because of aboki? What exactly does aboki bring to the table besides extremism, confusion and mediocrity? When we call Nigeria a zoo, you get mad, but are you aware that the Nigerian constitution says the zoo is a secular state, the same constitution recognises Sharia law? Isn't this a call for confusion? How can the English law walk side by side an extremist religious law without them clashing? What exactly were the British experimenting when they created this zoo?
This isn't bigotry, and I'm not hating on aboki nor their way of life, but my way of life and theirs are at extreme variance. We will NEVER agree because of this. Why for fuck's sake must we continue in this accursed marriage? Is marriage by force? These people have stifled us and regressed our progress, why can't we just call it a day? Is anybody happy with the way Nigeria is? Why not call it quits instead of living a fake life? We have nothing in common. Isn't that clear enough?

    1. I blame Southern governors. The north has their local police..
We need to separate from the north. We don't have anything in common.

      Delete
    2. The southern leaders need to sit up. The south and the north has nothing in common, practically NOTHING.. culture, religion, perception, even down to language family..
Yoruba and igbo are from the same Kwa language family, that the reason they share some certain similarities in language e.g ear- eti in yoruba, nti in ibo..
Mouth- enu in yoruba, onu in igbo..
Goat- ewure in yoruba, ewu in igbo.. etc etc

But the north belongs to afroasiatic language family..

What I'm trying to say is this country has to restructure or break, those are the only options for there to be peace and development..

The leaders in the south have to sit up and stop being cowards. Abi Shey it's greed or stupidity that's their problem.. I don't even know ..

      Stay blessed

Infact when I saw the news I knew that wahala dey..The president does not uphold the consitution yet he wants to teach Joe Biden how to run a democracy which has been done hundreds of years by one of the oldest countries in world..I just laugh..The abuse of power and raise powerful men instead of powerful insitutions will eventually cause disintegration..

  10. It is anger that is blind, love can see.

The IG of Nigeria Police has said that it is not wise for a policeman with a rifle to die in line of duty - because he has a rifle with which he's expected to protect his life FIRST, before any other.

Somehow that statement reminds of something I no longer think is wise, that I did a night before my NYSC POP.

I stood up in the middle of the night against partying and probably drunk soldiers when everyone was pretending to be asleep.

The soldiers had come to party with one of their friends who's a corp member the night before POP.

And they were making really annoying noise.

These were the same set of people that will flog us out of our beds as early as 4am.

Now they won't let us sleep when the light was out.

I thought it was really irresponsible behavior, and after waiting for almost an hour for them to stop. I ran out of patience.

And then went out of my room in darkness, to challenge armed and probably drunk soldiers.

I was lodged at the biggest male hostel in Wailo Bauchi, and there must have been at least 700 other young men in their rooms, but only Oshimade from Lagos came out to challenge soldiers in the dead of night.

Once I came out to yell, the soldiers quieted down and I saw them sneak out in darkness.

I felt a surge of courage and came on Facebook to boast about how 'brave' I was...

I love my younger self and would be his best friend, but I have always advised him to ' be calming down'

It was that same me, who when they said Boko Haram was killing corp members asked to be allowed to leave camp to collect money from a bank in town.

The camp coordinator didn't understand why I wasn't afraid, I agreed to an interview with BBC Hausa to say the camp was the safest - and it was for me.

Yet looking back now I think that must of what motivated me was anger and not courage.

Anger is blind, courage can see.

In 2013, I was angry and didn't care about a lot of things.

Now I see how cutting one's head is not a wise way to cure a headache.

And that out of patience, should not be out of caution and reason.

You know they call my great grandpa in Ijebu, the wall - the wall that doesn't run when the house is burning.

He was a very courageous community head, very wise - and stubborn.

And I see how that runs in the family.

But if the wall doesn't run when the house is burning, is it show of courage or wisdom or an inability to think and choose better?

Though I don't regret it , I am no longer proud of my behavior that night in camp. I risked my life for just one night of sleep.

Since nobody was dying, I thought I could have left the soldiers to have their time.

The next morning one of my roommates kept staring at me. He said he had just told his family that I was the quietest person he had meet.

So he's trying to understand my behavior 'last night '.

I was like you want to understand me in three weeks, people who were there when I was born sef do not know me.🤣

    1. This put me in a pensive mood. That while we were being 'courageous, cautious and reasonable', Nigeria's gone to hell in a hand basket.

  26. Life-Changing Habits

For many years, Bruce Streather, a successful lawyer, was an atheist. He never went to church, even though his family did. Most weekends he played golf. Eventually, as a result of considerable persuasion from his wife and three teenage daughters, he came on Alpha. He was extremely argumentative and hostile. None of the sessions had any impact on him until, towards the end of the course, he heard the talk ‘How Can I Resist Evil?’ Afterwards he came up to me and said, ‘In my work as a lawyer, I have seen so much evil. I have always believed in the power of evil. Tonight, it struck me that if there is a power of evil, it makes sense to believe that there is also a power of good.’

That night Bruce became a Christian. Ever since, he has been a committed member of the church with a very powerful and effective ministry affecting the lives of hundreds of people.

We struggle with the global evils of terrorism, the rise of Isis, the tragic plight of refugees, events in Syria, the Zika virus, starvation, poverty, the destruction of the environment, corrupt governments and countless other domestic, local and international issues. We also face struggles against evil in our own lives – temptation, sin and addiction.

The Bible is realistic about this struggle. In the Old Testament, we read about physical battles against the forces of evil. In the New Testament, the struggle is more often described as a spiritual battle. As St Paul puts it, ‘Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms’ (Ephesians 6:12).

Such a great day to be alive!!
I get one leftover gist wey I be promise oo

    Let's start small small
Shey you remember that curfew abi Anti protest holiday wey Lagos state dash us.
Yes!! That one that made so many of us sleepless
Abeg lemme shift to English jare🙄
I was outside the house by the gate precisely waiting for a visitor when I heard a noise coming from the next street...Wetin dey happen?
    My people!!
They were chasing a Mad Man oo.
He was running with so much speed.
Trust me na! I quickly called a guy I knew chasing the Mad man to know what was happening?
Oga Mad man was a kidnapper in disguise.
He grabbed a girl playing by her mother's shop and before he could put a substance in her mouth forcefully he was caught by a tailor who went to urinate.

    Omo ehn!!
This mad man just entered the community less than a week oo
And it was quite suspicious because Mad people has never stayed beyond 2days maximum in the area.
You would find them at the main bus stop not within a closed community

    What next??

Mad man in disguise don enter Keke dey run!!!

I don't support jungle justice at all but who would stop them??

The Mad man began to confess how he kidnaps and sell children parts for 2million. He specialize in selling the Legs and organs.

After the confession, he was taken to the Baale's palace with the Girl he attempted to kidnap.

That's where the gist get comma.
The police came to pick him up and I haven't heard the outcome of the arrest.
The community youths were angry with the Baale.
Because they believe he could be released by his sponsors eventually.

    Hmmmm
    Maybe they are right??
The police never came back and reports alleged that he was released by evening
    *Alleged oo*
    No be me talk am😜

  51. Good morning everyone
I'm not just happy this morning. My sister is married but always ask me for money whenever she needs. She prefers asking me instead of her husband. I'm in final year but I run a small business that is still starting but I always come through for my sister and my family and she knows it! It became too much that I started hiding my account details so I could save up for the future. I just decided to just buy myself something worth 1,300naira and I overheard her telling someone I said I didn't have money but I have money to waste by buying things. Like I'm still pained because I know how I sacrifice for this lady and her child too,not that I have too much money. I'm trying to forgive but I can't forget. I'm just hurt.

    1. Please forgive her she is your sister but you need to be wise when dealing with her..She has an entitlement mentality which ain't cool..Tell her business is not doing too well and you will give her when you have...

    2. Entitlement mentality!!!...stop giving her and start looking out for you!!!

    3. Anon stop giving her. You have been there for her. It's time for you to put yourself first. There is nothing wrong with that. She is married. If she cannot ask her husband why you a student? She can talk all she wants. Ignore her side talks. It is well with you.

    4. So sorry dear, she's trying to take advantage of your kind heart.Your sister will continue to play on your smartness to her advantage, give when you feel like or when it won't affect your pulse.Dont lose yourself in order to remain nice and acceptable to family members, you're also important as well. you're not her saviour, stop the sacrifice

  52. Goodmorning lovelies, please i need a word of prayer for my younger brother who is a sickle cell patient. He got married in September to a very lovely and sweet girl. He has not had crisis for more than 3 years but he's presently in the hospital. If you're not told you wouldn't believe he's a warrior.
