Once you start hitting your 50's, the main ailments of life begin to take good, with high BP, cholesterol, diabetes, prostrates in men etc gaining a strong hold of many people. Only those with some level of funds live to reach a certain age in Nigeria. Covid has no victims in Nigeria because most of them who are affected by the disease when old are already dead. Covid isn't killing young people in the west, but rather the elderly and those with existing medical conditions. If you have vulnerable elderly folks near you, look after and shield them.
