    1. It is best the Igbos boycott anything call PDP. I wonder why they can't speak out because it is almighty Wike the Lord of the skies of PDP.

Even the hopeless Igbo fools called rulers can't protect their own people. Everyone knows Oyibgo is occupied mostly by the Igbos reason Wike is this heartless.

As for the celebrities who have all gone quite pls next time you call for protest and Oyigbo people or any tribe stays out know you caused it.
The boys who caused whatever problems have all ran way, why kill innocent people?

  5. So pathetic and worrisome. Gov. Wike you will surely pay for your crimes at the appropriate time. The End Sars protest was all over Nigeria so also was the destruction by the youths. How many state governors invited the solders to kill the citizens in there state? Only you Wike. It's okay.

    1. Anon 20:18, stop displaying your ignorance on a public forum.

Oyigbo is a Local Government in Rivers State. Just after Oyigbo is Obio-Akpor which is the Governor's LGA. The IPOB leader who a 50million naira bounty was placed on his head is from Eleme in Rivers State.

You guys make it look like its an Igbo, South East thing.. IPOB has very strong indigenous membership in Rivers. At a time, it seemed the Governor was even sponsoring them till they fell out recently.

Im in Oyigbo currently as i type this message, so i know what i'm saying.

  11. It took Amnesty 10 WHOLE days to speak up about Oyigbo because northerners and not southerners were killed. THis has led to massive food shortage in the South south. Why report the soldiers aspect without what led to it? Hypocrites who really do not want peace anywhere.

How come nobody is talking about how IPOB killed the northerners and burnt their businesses and looted food-loaded trucks at oyigbo and oil mill, what of the police stations they burnt down and the DPO and policemen they killed, is that not why the army was sent there? Will the govt. just send army there for nothing? people reason well abeg.

    1. Anon 6:42, your'e correct. I was there that day. Saw it with my two eyes and ran with my two legs.

But it didn't really start as an IPOB affair.

What actually happened was that there was a peaceful End Sars protest on that 21st October, 2020. Agitations were high over the Lekki killings the previous day. When the protesters got to Oil Mill, some thugs attacked them and the Police stationed there didnt do anything.
Same thing that happened during other peaceful protests across Nigeria were thugs attack protesters. To make matters worse, the Police inadvertently shot and killed one of the protesters.

For some reason, it was decided that the thugs were Hausa guys and all hell broke loose. They started looking for Hausa guys to kill, breaking into their trucks and stealing their wares. They actually went too far in their retaliation.
At this point, there wasn't even any mention of IPOB at all.

Anyways, by the time the soldiers were deployed to Oyigbo and Oil mill axis, tensions were still high. They killed some soldiers and dispossessed them of their guns. The first set of soldiers that came there practically ran back because those boys were using some serious charms.

Wike in a smart political move decided to call it an IPOB thing, knowing that IPOB is already a proscribed organization. He placed a bounty on the head of the IPOB leader in Rivers state and directed the Army to restore normalcy in Oyigbo.

The Army on the other hand, being aggrieved by their initial shameful defeat, came back with a thirst for blood. Scores of innocent people have been killed. Meanwhile, the original protesters that caused the whole wahalla have long left the area to other parts of Rivers state.

This is the summary of what is going on. From an insider who is very lucky to have gone unscathed.

    2. Thank you anon 09,01 for saying if the way it is.
