    1. No one wishes for a relationship wreckage, but signing a prenup is a safety net in place, we pray never to need..... but just incase.

  2. No, it's not. Just go with the flow, if it works, fine. If not, then move on. There's no need to complicate matters.

  3. Not cool, to already have an exit plan in motion when you are still in a relationship, all it does is make you question and compare every decision or fights that happen, and when that happens it leaves room for zero understanding or communication.

  4. No, I don't think it's wise.

  5. No;
what that means in a nutshell is dating two people at the same time.
    That's unconscionable.

  6. In some cases it is advisable to have plan B o.

    1. I guess I'm the only one that misinterpreted the question. I was looking at it from finance perspective not double dating or having extra marital affair. I will never support that.

  11. No! I don't think it's wise. If it is bound to succeed it will and if it's gonna fail, then know it that it wasn't meant to be. Keeping a plan B means there's no trust in the first place. Making provision of what to do when a relationship fail by switching over to a standby arrangement simply means you already conditioned your mind towards failure.

    1. Hmph. Them never do u strong ting. I'm just now recovering from the one that ended 2 yrs ago. the guy was posting another girl in weeks! N using her to mock me. N before u ask we were a serious couple our families knew each other well n I was not exactly hidden. The shock of that thing was too much Olorun. I was like a mad woman. U know when u are watching a collision before your eyes n can't do anything to help it. And of course u as a woman will be hearing advise from so many places n don't know which to follow so as not to look desperate . I don't wish any lady to go thru that o. To make your life easier just have options or better still don't chase any suitor Away. Made me swear off yoruba men because the ones I tried moving on with were not any better. The only good thing is that I am emotionally strong now. Too strong. N I hardly wait long after seeing red flags before I run. So I guess such lessons have their purpose

  15. Yup. Definitely. Basically it still depends on who u are with. There are some ppl u always need a plan B with. Always.

  16. They say don't pull all your eggs in one basket but I am team plan A only.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I don't like plan B.. You already planned for a failed plan A. And if you have a plan B, u might as well have a plan C and plan D, after all there's no guarantee the B will work. Be hopeful and if it doesn't work, move on

    ReplyDelete

    1. Yes oo I love your analysis in as much no one is perfect, you have to move on if the relationship never worked.

  19. No.

I don't believe in it. You'll just keep lying to cover up stuff and walking away may be difficult for some. Date one person, open your eyes and head, leave if it's not going the way you want.

    ReplyDelete
  20. No! I don't believe in cheating, so, having a plan B is like having a relationship and also being in another friends with benefits kinda relationship (they call it besties nowadays)

    ReplyDelete
  21. Before I would have said no but after my own experience putting my eggs in one basket n the guy was just able to walk away, move on into a new relationship while I nursed the heartbreak with no options to fall back on because I was busy turning guys down. Men I will say hell yes now. I would have probably been married by now with a second child if I Had plan B tbh. It pains me but what can I do really??. In all my relationships I have always been so faithful to men while they move on so easily after breakup. U know what that means now. They were definitely exercising options during break up. So me I think it is advisable for women to have platonic side options because we have a biological clock while men don't. Men have more incentive not to settle down earlier

    ReplyDelete

    1. But you having a plan B then doesn't guarantee you would have been married/having kids now you know? Either plan A is good or not I don't think plan B is always an option though. If A isn't working you take your L, periodt. I always believe in que sera sera ✌

  28. You gotta be committed for a relationship to work and you can’t do that if you have a plan B.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Ano no you dont have to be committed, if you are committed and he is not or she is not then forget it. For me i believe dont take yourself off the market for someone that is still there. Have a plan B.I wish i knew this earlier.

  30. Plan B or not, game wey go cut go cut

    ReplyDelete
  31. My two cents is that it's best to have plan A, B, C and even D if possible so long as you are not intimate with neither of them. It is typical of men; most men shop for wives the same way women shop for shoes. Why can't women compare and contrast whom they will spend the rest of their lives with. When I was younger I chased away potential suitors with I have a boyfriend line. I believe full disclosure is important. These days I boldly tell them I am talking to other guys just so you know. On the side, I am trying to find out if they have the qualities I desire in a husband and slowly weed then out.

    1. God bless you. I don't see how it qualifies as cheating. Me I don't sleep with them so I have a clear brain n can add n subtract men to my roster depending on how they fit my values, plans, how they treat me etc. It really takes out the stress n desperation from dating for me. Men already do it anyway without telling their babes but women keep selling themselves short with 'I have a bf' line meanwhile the bf is single until married. Ladies, you are a pit stop until that man marries you. Take it or leave it. Stop putting your hearts all in for men that are not all in with you

      Delete
    2. That is very true. Most times if the men know that you have other suitors too it makes them sit up. When men know you are desirable and a hot cake they like to compete and bring their A game to be the man that wins your heart at the end of the day. It's only when a woman likes a man more than he likes her that she will be afraid to let him know that she has other guys talking to her. For me it spices things up. Like for eg. I was out with another guy and accidentally bumped into this guy I really liked. The guy I really liked spent the next few weeks asking me about the guy i was with and trying to one up and outdo what he did on the date.. making yourself out to be an object of desire is very seductive to men. Just be careful how u do it sha.

      Delete
    3. Yes sweetie. Nobody wants someone that nobody else wants. Simple. If u out there keeping your eggs in one basket it communicates to the man that you're not hot like that so he will have no incentive to put in his A game. Sounds childish but men are what again?.. yes babies!

      Delete
    4. You're playing the game perfectly well sista. ! Don't mind these naive babes here. I suppose this blog has a lot of inexperienced babes. Even when hoping for the best, u must use your brain.

  32. I have always been vehemently against it but with what I've seen, I won't put all my eggs in one basket.
