  1. Every divorced couple has been enduring, waiting, thinking, sometimes hoping for the best but that singular time or moment that one says "that's it" is the time. And that irreversible.

    1. Divorce is now the only solution in my 1 year plus marriage, we're not meant together. He's very rich before we married and I'm doing wonderfully well but now, things are so bad and the best thing is to go our separate ways. He's very responsible and rich, whenever we travel and live separately, things will get better in our various businesses. I still don't know how to end this amicably, we've prayed about it, but I know it will only get worse if we continue together, some people are just not fit maritally together. I've shattered, my heart is heavy, I'm totally broke. Can't be a virgin till 31 and still married wrong. Indeed broken relationship is far better than broken marriage, we have a child already. I don't know how I will cope. He has almost killed my self esteem and the emotional abuse is killing already. I'm totally broken, I wish there's someone I can lay my head on and cry my heart out. Lord, my strength has failed me

  2. Hmmm...Mine was when his "girlfriend" called me at midnight... one month shy of out anniversary to talk to me. She introduced herself as his girlfriend and politely asked who I was to him. Apparently he saved my nos as Barrister and Barrister will be calling at 1am for biz according to him.

Omo...no be small sometin that night. While we were talking he was sleeping cos she stole my nos to call so I told her to wake him up and do a video call. She woke up him with 'babe, Barrister wants to talk to you' 🤣.

The babe sef very funny...I was just laughing my head off. We even started comparing dates on who was with who. She even said that there was another barrister sef and others and listed some of their names. He had been lying to me and to her about me from day one but I was in Abuja and never knew.

On his birthday, I went to an orphanage to drop stuff off on his behalf cos he refused me paying for my flight cos he wanted to pay not not knowing he didn't want me to come cos he was doing marathon with the babe and didn't pick my calls the whole weekend. I gradually started giving excuses on why I didnt want to visit him after that...it was obvious na. Turns out I was lucky one cos the babe, dey collect STDs.

Anyways, we ended the night insulting him and I wished her well. If she went back, I don't know but for me ...I was done. Didn't even bother calling him to ask why just promptly deleted everything about him and moved on. I told God to reverse back the blessings from the orphanage to me abeg...he no need am.

  5. The right time to break up??When she no longer makes me want to be a better man...That's when I walk away.
Seek first to understand, then to be understood.

  8. I'm sorry but some of these reasons seem flimsy. Abi, is it just me?

Humans are not perfect. For me, cheating and domestic violence are grounds for divorce but other than that, I think the couple should work on their marriage.

  9. My marriage is 15 yrs old. I am at the verge of calling it quits. Too much wahala, abeg. Can't live the rest of my life fighting invisible wars and childish issues. Despite being the breadwinner since forever. No peace! He is so insecure, controlling and so angry at all times. Most times I feel bad for kids in this toxic environment. I just taya!I give up!
