PDP Says Ex President Jonathan Is Free To Run For 2023 Presidency On Its Platform

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said former Nigeria president, Goodluck Jonathan, would be free to contest for the presidency in 2023 on its platform.

However, the party has insisted that the presidential ticket has not been zoned to any region of the country yet.

The National Chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus, stated this during a media parley on Thursday in Abuja.

Secondus revealed a committee has been set up to review the party’s performance in the 2019 general elections.

On whether former Jonathan would be brought to run on the platform of the party, Secondus said once the committee submits its report, those interested will be at liberty to throw their hats in the ring.

Please please,he should continue touring Africa and forget about going to Aso rock as President again........Despite being a good President,a lot was also wrong when he was President....We don't wanna go back to our vomit please!!!

    2. Yes for someone who has not completed the approved 2 terms. Remember he only contested and won the presidency only once. So he's qualified.

  15. He should not come back again. He looks like someone that cowers easily.
When he was in seat all he did was to be pleasing northerners that can never be pleased and then ignoring his people.
Let him continue with his international 'touring'

I do miss his wife sha😂😂😂

  16. I love Jonathan o but affliction would not occur again. If his government was very good there wouldn't have been a need to vote Buhari. Let God just save us from Buhari's hand. 2023 fresh face and new idea

  20. Abeg who knows Uncle Jona? Go tell him not to even think of it. He will mess up his reclaimed name. He should know his govt was bad. But this present One made it look as if it was better hence his life line. And present good will.
He empowered the Northeners so much. Maybe his eyes have cleared but no need venturing into Presidency again. He will fail and make a mess of himself. Just respect yourself oga Sir and remain in your corner. Greet Mama Peace. Tell her we miss her. But dont contest again.

    1. Lami, the small money he was given. The people around him chopped more than he did plus they found him controllable hence the reason they want him back.
