  8. Why the insults on her? I can't cook okro soup to save my life. I have tried all sort of methods,it just doesn't come out well. It doesn't draw one bit and it turns out looking black. Abeg I don give up.

Chai don't give up dear..You can try frying the grated okro for 2 mins then add only your stock from meat or fish, allow to boil for some minutes then check again, if it is at the same consistency you want, if too thick add a lil water..Then don't chop onion or cover the pot for long as it will stop it from drawing..I hope it helps

    3. I have always had issue preparing ogbono/okro soup as well. No matter the recipe I follow, it doesn't ever turn out like normal ogbono.

      But yesterday, I finally made a really good one after months of not trying anymore and just sticking with my specialty 'Egusi'

    3. Aww, all you need is to gbaa the akwu, cook the water till it thickens before adding any ingredient. That way the soup will be well done and it won't be watery and dark .
