Saturday Breakfast Post....

Food is very important in the Morning irrespective of whether you are on a diet or not..........

This Akara balls up there with custard can go a long way in preventing hunger for the rest of the day.....I have the custard, but don't have Akara...LOL

I recently got the air fryer and that has made cooking so damn easy for me...I used to hate frying so much cos of splashing oil but now,i just sit and smile while my kini fries...hehehehehehehehehe

Will experiment with making Akara later today or tomorrow but must deep fry cos Akara needs to soak in oil for the taste to come out...

Enjoy whatever you are eating this morning and try to add some fruits to your menu.....

  1. An air fryer is one of the the best investments you can make when it comes to buying cooking equipment. Apart from easier, non messy frying, you don’t have to use as much oil and that’s less calories.

Anyway no breakfast for me per usual. It’s the most irrelevant meal of the day.

  11. I like Akara a lot. I eat it, especially at nights; the very spiced ones. I have learnt to make them. I don't like deep frying. I cook mainly in microwave and I wish I can prepare it there. Has anyone tried that?
The air fryer I bought wasn't so helpful, in terms of taste and gulps electric power. I would have love to use it in spite of the cons.
However, for the past 10 years or thereabout, I have not eaten breakfast and I am loving it. If I am hungry during the day (which rarely happens), I eat fruit salad; just a collection of chopped fruits and milk.
I eat my main meal at nights. I am better mentally, spiritually and my beauty glows. At least my husband tells me so. When I go out with my first daughter, people tell her how beautiful "her elder sister" looks. I had my inspiration from Eccl. 10:16-17.
Please if you have used microwave or air fryer to make any of these local fried delicacies, can you please explain under my comment?💕💕

    1. 09:56am; Please ma'am, explain further. Are you saying, eating fruits during the day (when hungry) and your main meal at night has you better spiritually? Kindly tell me how. It would be useful. Thanks.

    2. If you read that Eccl. quote there, feasting in the morning (regular meals; meats etc.) made me unproductive mentally and spiritually. Like not being able to concentrate on the Scriptures and practice such, not being able to resist temptations, easily angered. In fact all the works of the flesh as in Gal. 5. But since I began fruits during the day ("that's eating for strength and not for drunkenness'") and main meal at nights with lots of fruit juice, I am more joyful, self-controlled, peaceful and I meditate better in the Scriptures and perceives that closeness of God. I am able to interact with him better and appreciate his will for my life and so on. I can't list all here. I've also found immense peace in my marriage.
