Saturday In House Gists -Piggy Bank Tales.

What is all this with piggy Bank and money disappearing?

A Friend of mine just opened her piggy bank, she was expecting to see all the dollars and pounds she squeezed in but only saw 100 dollars and nothing else...she was expecting to see a lot but everything was gone...I told her someone stole it but she said it vanished cos it was still sealed and she was the one who opened it...

Is there a particular kind of piggy bank that makes money disappear or what?

Who believes in the disappearing money tales?

Who has piggy Bank stories t gist us?

  3. i'm surprised at all this piggy bank tails. My bro has an iron piggy bank that he locks with a big padlock. Any time he opens it, he is rather surprised at how much he has been able to save than complain of shortage.

  5. I don't think the 💰 disappear, a smart person always tamper with the piggy bank. I had such experience once but I was convinced it was tampered with.
But on a second note, it could be true the 💰 is disappearing, unimaginable things dey happen oooo.

I stop putting money in my piggy bank because I do go back from time to time to collect money from it without breaking it..
All I need to do is use broom stick..

  7. I used kolo when I was in secondary school. My immediate younger brother made mine. My money didn't disappear,it was intact. As years rolled by news started flying around the base about magic kolo but I no use my see wey person money no complete or disappear. I think this discouraged me in using piggy bank.

  8. Never experienced it first hand though.

But, I know of someone that gave the gist.

She bought it from one Aboki, she's an hairdresser and puts in nothing less than #500 on a daily.

Lest I forget, the Aboki she bought it from told her he wants to open it for her with #50.

And after the whole saving for many months decided to open it and to her utmost surprise, it was just that fifty naira that the Aboki "opened" it with that was in there.

These things happen but sometimes people that do visit or stay with the owners of the piggy do pick them at various times.

Some people are just good at doing it that you won't even suspect a human can even take something from there.

In a situation whereby it is jazz that was used, you won't see any money in it or just a small amount that won't be more than #500.

  9. I bought a piggy bank in April, the plan was to save money for a fairly used grinding machine for my business..... I started putting 200 in it everyday from may 1 2020, I had to open it in July 18 because my mum needed money for something important... Guys I found only #1350 in my kolo after almost 3 months of saving 200 everyday. I couldn't accuse anyone because it's just my mum and I in the room and there's no how she would have taken it
Till date I still wonder what happened to my money,if someone stole it or the kolo swallowed my money
I use piggyvest now, it's a great app..

  10. Well, I've seen someone use a broomstick to bring out money from a piggy safe. It's all about using the broom to bring out at least a tip of the money, while the rest will be pulled out.

It didn't just disappear, someone has taken from it with tricks.

I don't use boxes for my piggy savings, my old purse works fine for me.

  12. I had a welder make me two piggy banks in January. Broke one on my birthday in September and met 80k in it. Added money to it and used it to buy a big gen.

Broke the second one two weeks ago and saw 66,500 in it. Added more money to it and bought a 40inches Samsung TV.

I've given both piggy banks to the welder to cover for me and also make me a longer one. We move next year.

  17. My 12 years old saved 75,000 in his piggy box from the money his elder sister gives to him every month. The money was complete, one Kobe no varnish. I don't believe those stories

  18. I had it too early this year.
Although, took it from my kid sis cause she was scared of losing her money with all the stories heard. When i finally broke it open,my money was intact; so i don't believe in this stories of money vanishing.

  19. Nothing happens to the money in a piggy bank. Some one tampers with it. No matter how slit or little the hole to put money is, I can remove it. I so much stole money from there through the hole using wheel spoke or those big needles used in knitting sweater or hat that I was sorry for the saver.

Just raise the piggy bank up and make the slit or hole to face down, above your head, use the wheel spoke to change the cash/note inside to push for any edge to hook the spoke and draw down. Sometimes, it tears the note but most times it does not.

Please, don't try this at home or do not steal from another's piggy bank. God is always watching.

  20. I am my own piggy bank thief. I will throw in money today, tomorrow I will still use pin to bring it out. Ike gwuru biko. I vowed to have at least 100k before Christmas but everyday it rains.😭😭😭 Now I believe Saving is only possible when you have a steady income. I plan to stay this weekend without touching my piggy bank, but it's that time of the month for my younger sister and I. The struggle..😩😩😩😩

    BV Everyday na Wahala.🤦🤦

  24. When Stella asked us to do piggy bank savings last year I started mine around November and when I opened it in April during my birthday I had up to a 100k inside,I was so happy,I just bought tokunbo fridge freezer for 40k and use the remaining to stock my shop,I was lazy about it since then but I started another one by July and hoping by God's Grace to open it next year April again,My money was intact just the way I roll it in and I just kept it under the bed, although I don't put money in everyday as sales are slow sometimes but I made sure I put at least once a week and it must be 1k,so someone is definitely taking your friend's money.

It is possible stella.one baba from cotonuo gave me one charm like five years ago,if I do the necessary sacrifice,by the time I wake up,I will see over 70k in my pocket.i later asked the Baba where the money comes from,he told me it's from the money of the people staying in the same area with me.it was when my mind was not at rest,I threw the juju away.

  32. All you have to do is flip it and use a tweezer to grab whatever you can. The money disappears into someone’s else pocket. That’s all. No magic involved.
