Oh Dear..........
On January 26th at about 7am,a 28 year old man identified as Mr Chukwuemeka Obijofa killed his wife and only child with a shovel.
No reason was given for his action, but it was gathered that he suddenly attacked the woman and his child with a shovel, killing both of them.
A vigilante operative who tried to rescue the victims but was also injured by the man is said to be responding to treatment.
CSP Haruna Mohammed, spokesperson for Anambra State police command who disclosed this said the incident happened on Tuesday at Ofufe Nza village in Ekwusigo LGA of Anambra State, and that the suspect has been arrested.
He said the Commissioner of Police, CP John B.Abang has directed the DPO to transfer the case to State CID, Awka, for a discreet investigation to unravel the actual cause of the incident.

ReplyDeleteMental case. That was how one man in our street killed his 3 kids and himself bfre the wife returned. Women please leave the marriage once you notice any weird behavior. The woman blamed herself for not leaving or even taking the kids away when she found out the man was having a mental case.

DeleteNot surprised, I'm sure this one didn't even make the news. I tell people that mental issues are so underreported in Nigeria but it is very prevalent among us. But many still see it as a foreign disease. It's not.
