TEEJAYS CORNER

One thing about cultism is that, there's always a price to pay which is usually death.

I had just gotten admission in the year 2006. Barely one month I moved into my apartment, these daredevil visited my area. I was inside the room updating my course work when I heard gun shots. I heard it so clear as if it was at a close range and quickly went down to avoid stray bullets.

Few minutes later, the police arrived. When we all came out, we discovered a woman and her daughter had been shot dead.

What was their crime?

Having a cultist for a son and brother took their precious lives. He was the leader of a dreaded cult group. It was a retaliation of a cult clash. But this time, the rival group went too far by involving family members. When they couldn't find him, they traced his family home and killed an innocent mother and daughter.

I doubt he will ever forget that his family was killed because of him.

He went low for a while and came back more hardened. Although, reports had it that the death of his people was avenged.

Most nights and very early in the morning we were awoken with sounds of gun shots either from the police or from the boys. It was later I discovered that almost 65% of the guys living in that quarter belonged to that cult group. I started planning my exit. I left the area with five months left in my rent. I later heard that the guy who rented the room I absconded from was robbed one night and injured for challenging one of them (cultist)

I started squatting with a final year student in the new area I ran to who promised to give me full custody of the apartment after his degree exams.
I believed I had gotten a better environment but was shocked I was at the wrong place of all places.

One night something shocking happened.

(To be continued)

Hmmmmm when i was in UNIBEN I always ran into these guys but hey they were nice to me,abi them no dey look face?hahahahahahahhahahaha

From Spontaneous Thursday Post...

''Oh God please forgive me I've been so sad since i found out I'm pregnant. I don't want to sound ungrateful as I know there are many out there who would give anything to be pregnant but God already blessed us with 2 kids. While i admit my fault in not getting on birth control, hubby and i cant even explain how it happened.

We hardly had sex that month and even used protection so how it happened is still a shock to me as i was actually looking forward to having my period with serious cramps and painful pimples which are my indications that my period is close. I cry and pray for a miscarriage everyday because i am scared of having an abortion and scared of God's wrath.

My husband tries to encourage me and i want to be happy but i cant help myself. Let me just use this opportunity to wish every TTC woman out there multiple blessings of childbirth so much so that you'd be the one saying "Thank you Lord, but its ok". Lol''.

*Madam i enabled this comment twice this week already inside in house news ...What do you want? comments? Are you planning on aborting? you want us to advice you or is this just a rant that needs attention? The f#ck na you f#ck am oh....
Please don't abort, when you born this one then go and have a plan...
Make una no Sidon there they imagine how una take get belle.....

  2. Divine Health Confessions!!

I am an active participator in the divine experience. The good life is mine – a life that is void of sickness, fear, and death. The very life of God has been activated in my spirit, and this life has created an impenetrable force field around me. I am far removed from the decadence of nature and the destructive influences of this world. I am alive to God and Christ is alive in me. Hallelujah.

A man calmly walked up to your wife and gave her 500k to replace the phone and equally dropped his phone number incase the money is not enough.

    As a wife
    Would you collect the money?
As a husband what would be your reaction?_

  4. Good afternoon to y'all on here and hope everything is moving on smoothly wherever you are at? I have got a gist that sure will set your tongues wagging and get you all gnashing your darn teeth.πŸ˜πŸ˜‚πŸ˜πŸ˜‚ So apparently,i had this early programme to attend few days ago and i woke up around 4am,took my bath and left the house around 5am only to bump into this sex worker or olosho as it's popularly called in Nigeria.I was startled and literally shook to my bone marrow cos of what she was putting on and of course, her bum were all bared out inside of the ripped bum shorts she had on.Ewele! It all happened at Ademola Adetokunbo crescent close to Chicken Republic by Ap.I was so abashed on behalf of her on that fateful day cos guys who were mostly youngies trailed her and started touching her bum bum inappropriately tbvh.It was more like a movie on that day but i had to leave cos there was absolute need for me to keep up with time.Hers is a case of being an Abuja hoelosho or sex worker that's brash.Nawa o! #FreakyFriyay,#ProudlyNigerian

My days at Ekpoma made me see and hear enough stories so these cultist stories don't shock me anymore.
This life na beans sha so people are looking for babies and another has and is asking God why. May we not be ungrateful to God in our lifetime and may God bless all GTC women. Amen.

  13. THE COST OF DISCIPLESHIP
.....He said to them,"But who do you say that I am?" And they answered,"Some say John the Baptist;others, Elijah;and still others,Jeremiah,or[just] one of the prophets."(mat16:15&14)
The first thing you must know as a disciple is who your master is,if you don't,you will keep mistaking him for other people and other people for him...The implication of this is that you tend to listen to the wrong person while thinking he is your master.
Getting to know your master is a stage that must not be skipped in the issue of discipleship,it is what makes every other thing balanced and easy. The stage of getting to know your master involves
    I)knowing who he is(his name,face etc)
    ii)His personality and values
    iii)His likes and dislikes
iv)What is obtainable in him and what is not
Once all this is well known and grafted into you, having a relationship with the master becomes easy and stress free, because now you know what to do and what not to do .
The reason why many of us struggle with this ''having a relationship with Jesus" of a thing is because we have not really come to know who he is.We know him as the Savior who came to save the world, but we don't know/have the info on the above listed details, and so we continue to struggle, wondering what exactly could be wrong?why can't I just figure out and do well on this Jesus issue?..... It's because by strength shall be man prevail, you need a base to stand on lest you keep grappling.

  14. @Teejay's

It was one hot afternoon after lectures, I got home with my twin bro, we noticed unusual movement of boys and the number, more than 50 circling where we lived in our year one. We were popular in campus because we were in Dollar Club, my twin was the Chancellor, head. We agreed we will never belong to any cult. It would have been suicidal belonging because we would have been easy targets.

We were friends with all cult boys, never identified with any particular sect.

On the afternoon the boys came, we saw them, innocently, we never knew we were the targets. After they left, the boy that led them to our place told me the following day that they came and did all they could to ascertain if we belonged to any cult but found we did not. According to him, "they smelt our asses and did not smell shit". That what he wanted to do was cut our ears one by one and give us to chew. The boy was my friend and we were in same faculty. Innocent looking, calm boy, with his girl friend won "couple of the year" for 4 years.

That was how my mother would have lost her first sons to something we did not know.

These cult boys don't understand the gravity of what they enter. How pledging allegiance to the devil in the blood they individually contributed in a bowl by the piecing of their fingers and the subsequent drinking completing the initiation and the fraternity.

Not entering a cult in uni was one of my achievements as a student. It was a big deal to me. Pressure from all the cults to have us. I think we would have been dead by now because envy and jealousy was high. Guys saw us, twins, as getting the best girls.

    1. I am glad you didn't, like i don't understand it, there were girls that were so proud to date cultist.

It's funny that I don't remember a thing about carrying my first child. It was so easy breezy and a week after ECS, I was already back to my feet.

Oga...if you cannot forget tour wife cheated, then end the marriage before u live a life of resentment towards her, you would keep imagining d other guy pounding n cumming in her anytime u both are in bed. Maybe she is your karma, abi? Many men are like you, just that they ain't lucky to catch theirs and therein lies their punishment for cheating.
