COPIED FROM WEDNESDAY IN HOUSE NEWS

Ladies pity us when we asked you out on a date. My friend had a very laughable yet terrible experience recently. He planned a date with a girl he thought would be his 'last bus-stop', a month after they were introduced by a mutual friend.

My friend bought new shoes and tie just because of the date.

He also fixed a good restaurant in one of the finest hotels in Ikeja GRA. On the D-Day-they met, had a kiss and everything was going smoothly as their discussion shifted from fashion to romance and opinion about low key and high profile weddings . The bill was running too. He was up to the task. He works as his father's PA in a food distribution company. Suddenly, babe spoke with her friends on the phone.

Two of them arrived within 30 minutes, took the order book. Ordered for bottle of wine and also ate to their satisfaction. This is a restaurant that my friend and the babe alone would have spent about 50,000 already for their food and bottle of wine. This is what they call invitation without consultation.

I am comfortable not stupid, he later told us. He felt the babe was disrespectful calling her friends to meet up at the venue of their date and guess what?...you don't even know how much this guy had on him or financial plan.

My friend played along as they asked him about work and all that. When it was time to leave, he told them, he was going for a meeting. He sorted his bill and that of his date only! Gbam!

That was when issue started.

The babe felt embarrassed. Her friends bill are over 50k. Buffet per person alone is N11,000 depending on the time of the day. A bottle of wine cost depends on your choice. Then, add money for Chapman and other things. He was blunt. "I did not invite them." It was embarrassing.

It almost turned into argument.

He excused himself, drove out of the place without looking back. She sent my friend a stinker and called to abuse him repeatedly. That one replied with "I would rather give that money to beggars on the street".πŸ˜€πŸ˜€ I know my friend can afford to pay. His father is 'old money'. The man can not read A to Z but has chain of businesses. I guess, he just wanted to prove a point. Is it right to bring your friends when a man asked you out?

A lot of women are responsible for this oooh...I did it as well those days. It is done to pose or when we are not ready to be sampled...Hahahahahahahaha

So how did your friend and the babe end up? gist us na!

FROM THURSDAY SPONTANEOUS POST- COMMENT NOT ENABLED

Good morning BVs and wonderful Thursdays to us all.

So I want to narrate what happened to me recently so others can learn from this and not fall victims. I went to POS stand to make payment to Someone's account (paying off my contribution) and I gave this man #13,000, the amount to be paid was #12,600 and his charge was #300, the man counted this money, and handed the money to his sales girl, who also confirmed and I was given #100 change..

I didn't leave the stand immediately as I stayed back to capture the POP and sent to the WhatsApp contribution group and we had a little chat and I left.

10 days later a strange number chatted me up demanding I make payment to his account as he argued that I didn't pay him, I thought it was all this fraudsters and I blocked the line.. the said guy went to the back and got the details of the bank I sent the money to and contacted the lady and that was how he got my WhatsApp number, I didn't even know as the coordinator of the contribution has being trying to contact me to get the whole details of what is happening, my people before we could say jack, her account was debited and she couldn't access her funds,I had to locate the POs guy and he denied ever being paid by me including his girl and his girl accepted giving me change and people kept asking her, on what ground did you give her change??

She says she can't remember,,, to say I was traumatized is to downplay it, how they look into my eyes and denied ever touching my money was a shock to me, so I had to make new payment for my contribution, the only thing I said was if ever your hands touched my money and your lying, what ever that hands touches will never prosper. . so people it's risky to give cash to this POs agent as they can deny ones

Sorry i did not post this in the morning because i wanted to being it here to avoid so so POS comments like the other day..

  1. Divine Health Confessions!!

Jesus died that I may have life to the full; He was buried and raised for my justification. Thus, I live the beautiful life that Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection consummated for me. I am a new creation with the very life of God surging through my being; I never get sick. I prosper in my life and health, even as my soul prospers. I live unto righteousness, for I am dead to sin and its wages.

If you're seeing this, I'm here to tell you that there's more happening in the background that you're not aware of.

  3. I made a big mistake, I got married just recently and found out my wife has been cheating on me all along, a marriage not up to two months, I found out over the weekend and I’m devastated, I don’t know what to do. After work today, I’m going to confront her, I’m ashamed of calling off the relationship because I spent millions, and also our parents and what people will say, particularly my parents because they warned me but I was blinded with love, and this is a woman that preaches God and Christianity, sad enough, I munched her chats and the nudes she sent to her boyfriend, it is well, same God will teach me how to go about it, just putting this out here, it’s saddening but I’ll move on, it’s not the end of the world

  17. Your friend did the right thing. His date was disrespectful and merited what she got. You don't make plans on someone else's tab without asking for their permission first. She did not inquire if he approved of it but anticipated that he should pay like they had agreed upon it prior. It's not so much as a date when a third person is present. She appeared unserious asking friends over hereby sending a wrong signal about having absolutely no interest in developing a romantic relationship with your friend. I guess she wasn't interested in your friend else she wouldn't want any interference.

Abeg that girl is rude and has no manners...you dont invite your friends to join a date without the consent of the other party. she knew the kind of place they were in but wanted them to come and chop awwof as per she don catch maga. The kind of invite I extended to my friends in uni days was to come chop suya or have a burger and even then we carry vex money in case the guy messes up. For my proper restaurant dinner or lunch dates I dont bring anyone except I ask my date cos I knew it would be expensive and i might not have money to pay for all that. I know sometimes some guys can like to show off and be forming plenty money so girls will want to kuku chop it for them but even then it is risky if you dont have your own back up money. Maybe am old school now oh according to this generation but it is a total no no what she did.

  26. Stella that girl is an idiot. I have never invited any friend to a date I was asked without permission. Even my own twin sis who is my bestie, I always ask for permission for her to join us or I ask to take something back for my friends, not inviting them in the middle of events and then they begin to order, when I'm not mad.
Even if I don't like the guy I won't do it, the highest is to ask the guy, if he agrees fine ,if not fine.
Some guys at the end of the date will ask me to take something home for myself and my friends, its better that way.
