Good Morning Everyone!...

What is the first thing you do when you wake up in the Morning? I reach out for the phone to see what the weather report says cos it helps one plan the day....

May today turn out right for everyone....Read the Prayer up there again and again!

Wait, let me ask you guys something...... Its like you all in Nigeria think the COVID ish is over? It is not, please do not let down your guard. I hear you people no longer wear the Mask.. Na wah

Some Countries in Europe are in the third phase of infections and it could spread... We pray it doesn't though because everybody don tire... Too many things have been altered that will never return to the way it was......

Stay out of harms way and leave a smile to brighten someones day after reading this post...

One love eh

  1. By the special grace of God, I'm a child of God and I know that the house of God (the church)isn't perfect but it's working towards perfection and I try as much as possible not to speak against the church, but there are some certain things that makes me wonder,I may be wrong tho but I don't know how you guys see it.I think even if it is how the world does it,it shouldn't be same in the house of God, there should be a deliberate effort to curtail such in the church.
I'm talking about the issue of food sharing during special programs in church, why will everyone contribute money for these events and when it's time for the food and drinks, those who feel they own the church will hoard everything and be saying 'no more food or drink', everything will be hidden inside the pastor's office or somewhere else. and you will see some people murmuring because food isn't sufficient but its hidden somewhere.
The people preparing the food are even worse, they will collect enough after preparing the food and still reserve again for themselves after the program is over.
But the one that makes me uncomfortable is serving all the adults before serving the children and by the time they're through with the adults, they will start asking the children to share amongst themselves. When they get to where a child is,they will pass the child and serve the adult,to make sure all the adults are feed before facing the children and the children will just be looking.I know adults are grown ups but I think in the house of God, the children are more important.
How do you guys see it, when you have a church that the children are mixed with the adults, is the right thing to serve the adults first before attending to the children?

    1. I will advise you meet one or two officials in the church..If it was the Anglican church, you have the people's warden or write a letter to the church officials and tender this complaint..This is not speaking against the church..When people do wrong you must speak out..Remember Apostle Paul rebuked Peter when he was being hypocritical with the Gentiles and Jews...

    2. This very thing is bad, they do it alot in my church reason why some people left the church. Very sad situation

    3. This is a common issue in most churches.
I feel children should have their class and even before the food is shared, the portion of the children should already be reserved for them, drinks inclusive.
I've learned not to put my mind on these things. Afterall I didn't come to church for food.

    4. Especially those women leaders, I think something's cannot change whether church or not.Me I only contribute when I want to

    5. Phoenix, they're very much aware, the last time I spoke,I was asked if I have collected my own that I'm talking about children.
      I just zipped my mouth.

    6. This you said(typed) is true, especially with the women leaders as Blessing said. The way they hoard meat and serve only rice ehn, you begin to wonder if they had never eaten meat before.
In my parish, my pastor always insist that food gets to the church members and children first before the workers, then finally the ministers.
If the food finishes before it gets to all workers or ministers, he will fix a weekend when food would be prepared for those people who didn't get to eat on that day.

      Delete
    7. This is so true. You need to see the way they hoard the food and drinks as if they've never'd eaten or seen food before. And most of them are workers and Minister's who should foreit theirs to members or congregations. It's really sad.

    8. Wendy,it never ceases to amaze me,I begin to wonder if they will never hunger again after packing all those things or if it will not finish that same day.

      Lol,'as if never eaten before'

    Colossians 2:9-10.

    Excerpts!!

"Refuse to think that your completeness is in the  government, your place of work or any human structure,  organization or association"

"Your confession, every so often, should be,  Father, I thank you, because I have all things! I’m  complete in Christ; there’s no shortage in my life, but  completene"

"Do this consciously and continually,  and see your life blossom"

    Confession!!

Christ is my all; I’m complete in Him who is the head  of all principality and power; there’s no shortage in  my life. I’m full of ideas, inspiration, with wealth,  prosperity and all the blessings of the Kingdom; and  out of that abundance, I impact my world. Amen.

Who is doing that, instead of addressing the fact that a group of people are behind it and still threatening.

When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm you are going through is all about, you will definitely overcome it.

  25. YOU’RE COMMANDED TO LOVE

‘This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.’
    John 15:12 NKJV

If love was a sentiment that depended on someone else’s actions and reactions, or an emotion over which you had no control, Jesus wouldn’t have said, ‘This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.’ That means love is a choice you make. It’s initiated by your will. Jesus also said, ‘Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully useyou’ (Luke 6:27-28 NKJV). And what He commands you to do, He will give you the grace to carry out. In societies that endorse this philosophy, divorce is almost non-existent. Now, we’re not advocating arranged marriages, but the notion of ‘romantic love’ that’s so prevalent today has little to do with a successful marriage. When you endeavour to love someone unconditionally the way Christ loves you, you experience joy and fulfilment.
