Women's Struggles...

  1. This picture is heavily tilted to favour one gender.
Both genders have struggles and times have changed. She can employ capable hands to help with domestic task while she squarely faces pursuing her goals.
The men on the one hand are also burdened with the task of keeping the family comfortable. While the woman takes care of the home in terms of caring for the children and all what not... The man must ensure that his family is not lacking even if it means juggling jobs, taking loans, denying himself of certain luxuries just to give his wife and children a comfortable life.
This picture is not an accurate one.

    4. Don't agree with you. More homes require income from both the husband and wife. Some homes are run financially by the wives. Do you think they share house work equally?

    5. A lot of men even if they can somewhat afford it won’t allow their wives to get outside help, they want their wives to do it all. Even if the wife has help she still does a lot more than the man, as they say a woman’s job is never done.

    7. Hmmmmm speak for ur husband o! Speaking because u married a GOOD man abi
Nne hmmmmmm some homes dey hear am, some men once the wife is earning income ceases to contribute.
I have seen where a husband hides his own and keep tasking his wife heavily and yet wants her to OVERSEE what d help does at home.
If what u said apply to ur own home, you r very Lucky.

    8. You mismatched the gender roles and period. Prior to the 20th century, men are sole providers, women sole homemakers. Post 20th century women coproviders + sole homemakers, men coproviders, zero no low willingness to pick up their share of homemaking. For some women infact, once they start working, 100% provision and 100% homemaking. We know this is not absolute because some men go all out to support their women but the percentage is still nothing to write home about. It is not going to get better because of the amount of broken home we are manufacturing these days. Broken men and women of the future. May God help us all.

  5. It speaks volumes, but then it's unfair to men as they also have struggles which I believe include satisfying their women's needs to a great extent.

  6. Infact, as a married career mum, i know what i go through daily. Sometimes, i wish i could go on a 2day vacation alone, but not possible. The Lord is my strength.

  11. The women in the picture are even lucky. What of those who don't have all the machines depicted here?

  12. We all have our own life struggles. Being a male child ain't beans though. It boils down to how you choose to manage the distractions/challenges. It's not easier for any particular gender.

  13. There are so many women who have it easy than men...it has nothing to do with gender... some people are more favoured than others.

  14. Never seen a picture more erroneous and flawed. Everyday, gender this gender that. It's boring af!

  15. This picture looks gender biased. Yes women go through a lot especially career women-shuffling between work and family..

Men equally share in the same struggle though its might not be physically seen, but the sacrifice a lot too.

Kudos to the real men and women out there.

  16. While this image isn't totally accurate as men also have thier struggles.
woman, I dare you to master the art of picking your "race" and priotize your "goals"... Know what to hold on to and what to let go. Above all, remain unfettered.

  18. Seeing that washing machine on the tracks reminded me of how my dad's family abused my mum and called her unprintable mames all because she bought a washing machine in the 80s.

  19. Despite the fact they have all those chores to attend to, they are still looking out for their husband success in the race. As you can see in the picture the men nor even send them as they are only concern about themselves.

    1. For me the picture is very sound. Especially for homely women. They sacrifice a lot to maintain stability. Hence they don't reach their personal goals, or get there late. Hardly will you find a successful woman without issues in her home or with her spouse or children etc. She may just prefer to remain single. Very few achieve it all, or attain what they set out to.
