    1. Oga! No problem, we are to deliver 6boxes of special pizza, 2breakfast trays tomorrow morning by 9am. Juice production is today,2bags of oranges should be juiced before 11am. While at it remember to get chickens, get them killed, marinated and ready for the day. We almost forgot meat too. Oh! One more thing we have two birthday cake orders which just got in,to be delivered in 24hrs. Lastly, we are short of staff. 2called in sick. Oga, if you can handle all these and more unforseen circumstances, I'll gladly step down as the CEO for you let me rest.

    1. Your reasons are legit,i mean,.. What if he doesn't know jack about my business.
You just don't wake up and' voilร  ',you' re a CEO of a company..there are processes to these things pls.
He could start from a lesser position, whilst learning and then get promoted as time goes on.
A Man(in every sense of the word) won't even agree to such a thing, much less suggest it.
I could never ask for such, why should he?

  3. We can work together. I won't step down, knowing the kind of person he is, he won't even agree to such.

  4. Why would I want to do that???? Hey God???? The fact that this can be a topic for discussion shows what Nigerian women are really suffering in marriage.

  7. Yes! I would even let him be the CEO before he lost his job.

Why would my husband be an employee when I am the CEO of a company?

    He deserves to be respected.

    ReplyDelete
  8. No. This is where we get it wrong! A man's authority is not in how much he earns or his position in society. That is like watering down his worth. I submit to my husband because he is the Head of my home and I greatly value his guidance, advice and his love for his family. If I own a specialised medical facility. Will my husband who is an archaeologist fit in that role? If he loses his job, we will deliberate on what direction we should take, together, and I will fully support. It is not a competition.

He is the head yes, but what if he knows nothing about the business.
Moreover he can be something else, a position that fits certification.

  13. What happens to working together?? Must I step down for him to run the company alone?

    Not stepping down.

Can make him something something in my company.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I won't step down. Does he know the rudiments of the business? Was he running it with me all this while? Best bet is to give him a job in the company. Make e no go run business down because of naivety.

    ReplyDelete
  17. No
This is because he may not be knowledgeable about my company's business and therefore can not function properly as the CEO. Instead, we use our connections to he him something better to do or manage.

    ReplyDelete
  18. He might run down the company who knows??? So NO.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Step down even if he doesn't know the buisness. It's not advisable to mix buisnes with family otherwise we'd both be poor in no time.

    1. Even if he knows the business, why should I hand over my business to him?

      Delete
  20. Yes. While I earn equal salary with him staying at home. Sense will not kee me

    ReplyDelete
  21. If he is so good in the business, extremely good, why not? I will. But we will still work hand in hand, while I use part of my time, to look after the kids

It all comes down to how trust worthy he is, and how good he is to us

    ReplyDelete
  22. If he has the qualifications and experience needed. If not I just make him a non executive director and pay him salaries and dividends.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I would rather he becomes chairman and I continue to be CEO if he is not qualified.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Lmao I should step down from my business I built probably with sweat, tears and blood just to assuage a man’s ego? No ❤️
My earning more money or his being jobless shouldn’t make him less of a man

  25. Never ever ever.....he wont do the same for me so why should i

    ReplyDelete
  26. My husband won't accept such. Because he knows i am good at the job. He would rather find something else to do.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Business and pleasure don't mix. He is "head" at home only. If he is out of job, he should go search for another or start one. Although, he can play an advisory role or at most, non-executive director role. Which one be step down, mbok?

    ReplyDelete
  28. I will not step down but rather make him board of director. Is possible he may nit be conversant with the business or not good at what my company is doing, training to make hom better.

Las las all depends on how loyal he gas been to the union and the whole family all along and how supportive he has been.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Nope, I must have been a rookie at the job, if l have to step down, rather l would create a department for him to bring his sabi on board.....and then expand.

    ReplyDelete
  30. My answer is no. Why should I step down from a company I built? Does he have the skill set to run the business adequately?

Even if he did, why would he want to be CEO of my company? I'll rather encourage him to build his own business.

Highest I can do is give him a non executive director position and that is only IF he has the required qualifications.

Wait, do you guys even know what a real CEO role entails? It's not owner of one small business o.

    ReplyDelete
  33. We'll run the company together. we both want to success

    ReplyDelete
  34. No. I am sure there will be other roles in the company best suited for his skills or a job someone else.

    ReplyDelete
  35. No, he should search for another job or think of what business to do,will help out with finances

    ReplyDelete
  36. I'm a man.... it's a very wrong move for any woman to do so no matter how much you love and trust your man.

    ReplyDelete
  37. No.
I will use my connection to get him another job, period..

    ReplyDelete
  38. Know it is not all the job women do that suits a man.
I will support him to start up something while helping him to get a job.
Why I wish to marry an ambitious and hardworking man.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. If Elizabeth was a Nigerian woman, Philip probably would’ve been King ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†. All Philip needed to do would be to just mention “marriage” and she will hand him the keys to the kingdom and even the ones to the neighboring kingdom if possible.

    ReplyDelete
  44. No but if there’s any position in the company that he’s qualified for, he’s welcome to do it and get paid for it.

    ReplyDelete
  45. No, I wont.
