    2. Bhaykins is this you? I left a comment for you in the previous post.
People were not wishing him dead, however, if you've chosen to keep extending a 30 year rule at the age of 60+, are you not indirectly implying you intend to spend your whole living days in that position?
      Quit being sentimental.

Is he the only one that seat is meant for?

How can one person be power driven to have governed for three decades yet still thirst for more???..

Probably if he had allowed someone else rule, he'd be alive.

No one wished him rather he got what he desired, but I'm sure he'd be surprised anywhere he is now that it came early.

What's with the greed, he chose to die in office and it simply came to pass.
Is this the first time people have made such statement?
How many persons died after all the talk and noise.
Abeg accept that this one was his calling.

  4. Why there is no empathy when African leaders die is understandable. Ruling for decades, takes a bow and his son takes over. African countries don't look like North Korea.

    1. Chad doesn't practice a monarchical system.

After Derby lost his life to the rebels, the military council quickly stepped in and dissolved the parliament and announced his son as his successor. His son is an army General.

  6. Death is inevitable, however, it shouldn't be in your place to wish anyone death, more especially someone you don't know or hasn't done you any wrong.
I just want to believe that the will of God has been done. May his deed on earth speak for him.

  7. Re-elected and he was fighting rebels in the NOrth? You mean he still carried guns into
battle; as a soldier or what? I am confused. ๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜•Or did someone in the army have
    accidental discharge?

  9. How come his security details couldn't secure his safety? And must his son take over from him? why should Chadians allow that?

At least he was brave enough to be at the front line.
