This happened in Festac town in Lagos...
In the video, voices can be heard thanking God for striking down the witches and they agreed that as the tree was burning someone or some people would die.....

ReplyDeleteThis can't be festac cos it would have been everywhere here, how come I didn't hear of such news?
ReplyDeleteHappened once in Niger state, Mina. The house of an army officer was completely burnt down. They became homeless, people refused to sympathize with him because of his life style. They suggested his behavior may have prompted it.
ReplyDeleteI think there's a thing with palm trees and thunder, this once happened near my lodge while I was an undergraduate...
ReplyDeleteMysteries.
Na the palm win na. Alcohol and fire
DeleteHaha sometimes I wonder if God and his angels smile or laugh out loud when they hear all these kinda prayers and Thanksgiving from Nigerians๐

DeleteThunder doesn't strike but sounds(rumbles) it's lightning that strikes
ReplyDeleteLightning strike! Thats y all tall buildings and masts are installed with deflectors. Movie and useless churches na im cause all ds nonsense.
ReplyDeleteGod is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteVillage people misfire.
ReplyDeleteWicked generation always think like that. Of course, none of the thieving politicians that they worship and fight for will die. It is their own relatives and neighbors they suspect and want dead. If you place a lens or glass in the sun at an angle against paper or grass and it catches fire, is that witchcraft? If a bullet is fired into fuel and it explodes is that witchcraft? Striking two stones against each other to make fire is not witchcraft either. When they were taught these things in ss1, did they listen? Do they know which is safer during a thunderstorm- to be under a tree or inside a car? Please let us be more informed. With all the "witches" that have been murdered, the lives of Nigerians continue to get worse and their society continues to deteriorate. Lighting or "fire" struck a dry tree and it burned down. End of story. Your neighbors and village people are also disappointed that you did not die.
ReplyDeleteHmmm
