    1. House, hut, does it matter?

This is what happens when people feel they can do whatever they want because they were provoked or wronged in some way.
Some will even say "it's my nature, when i'm angry, i can do anything". Smh

We were discussing sometime back and this one guy said he's not a violent person, but there's a point his wife will push him to that he'll beat her. He kept insisting everyone has a limit and people should understand that whatever happens when pushed beyound that limit isn't the person's fault.
I then asked him, "what happens when your wife reaches her limit? Since she can't physically beat you up, what do you think she'll do?"

This guy looked dumbfounded! like it never occurred to him that she might have a "limit" too.

Let's learn to walk away before we reach that point of "all consuming anger" that can kill, burn down houses or beat a person to a pub.

Don't allow the devil to use you. Resist! Flee!

  10. A little background. This happened in BENUE state. Now until fairly recently, Makurdi the state capital was dominated with thatched mud huts. Most rural settlements of the tiv speaking population of the state are thatched roofed buildings spaced apart.
The reason for this is simple. The tiv traditionally set houses on fire whenever there is dispute. It was a primary method of settling scores. So why bother with corrugated roofing when you can just use a thatch hut that is easily replaced after each episode of burning.

Burning homes is a normal thing for BENUE people. You'd be surprised that the couple in the story will still be together after all.

"until fairly recently, Makurdi the state capital was dominated with thatched mud huts." Fairly recently? Dominated? Sweetie you have no clue what you're talking about.

Burning homes and properties is pretty normal anywhere there's dispute. It's not exclusive to Benue people, you sound ignorant af.

Just go to google and put in "woman burns house down" your ignorant ass will see that most results aren't even in Nigeria, not to talk of benue.

Jeweluchi please post oo, this Dog needs to see this and educate himself.
