Mother Whose Son Was Killed By SARS Officers Says A Gun Was Inserted Into Her Privates...

Victoria Agori says on May 11,2019 her son Daniel was shot dead by SARS officers in her presence......

Interpreter:

May 11th, 2019 is one of the day the Agori family will never forget, it was the day Daniel Agori, Victoria's son was shot dead in her presence by officers of the inspection general of police monitoring unit of Aluu Ikwere , Rivers State. Daniel was killed over allegations of kidnapping and robbery.

Late Daniels mum :

2019, May 11th, Saturday, on that Monday, my son, his fiancee and sister Felicia Agori, they had issues about clothes. If I wasn't there, it will seem like a story I witnessed, it's just making me look like a mad woman. She ( Felicia) called her boyfriend, officer Victor Nelson to come and flog her junior brother and his fiancee, so they will have respect for her as a senior sister. She didn't know it was to take the life of her brother and open her mother's leg. My leg was open, officer Bello held one leg , officer Musa held the other. They said open your "t*t*" they didn't say private part, put gun inside .."this your "t*t*" is how we treat kidnappers". They accused me of being a kidnapper and thief.

Interpreter:

DCP Bello Yusuf one of the officers involved in the case while testifying before the 11 members investigative panel on human rights violation by SARS and other units in the Nigerian police sitting in Abuja, accused the late victim of being a member of a kidnap gang and his family complicit in his criminal Enterprise. He told the panel that he and his team stormed Agori residence based on information that the said Daniel(now deceased) was part of gang involved in the kidnap of a 90 year old woman.

Mrs Agori later begged to differ she said her son until his ultimate demise was a footballer. She also said that the police officer who shot Daniel never made any inquiry into allegations of the kidnap allegations leveled against him

Deceased mum:

Because I refused to accept backyard settlement they are now peddling all kinds of lies. please I want you people to assist me give my late son justice. so this kind of thing won't happen again. my son and I were crying on that day, Oh Jesus they kill my son unconscionably. If I wasn't there it would have been like a story but it happened in my presence. I am still seeing the pictures of how they are carried us beyond the gate. Daniel did not come back he hasn't called me (weeping)

Interpreter:
She disclosed that the police had not released her son's body for the burial. while the panel is yet to decide on the matter, Mrs Agori remains hopeful that in the end justice will be served

  3. While I would not take side as to who is telling the truth, the Nigerian police are so unprofessional in their operation. They go around, here in Abuja, carrying out illegal arrest of people who are legitimately carrying out their business. Believe me you it's only a matter of time, many police officers in this country will start running mad, collapsing and falling sick beyond redemption. No child of mine will dare bring in this barefaced devil to me as a spouse. Stella, abeg post o.

  5. Is it not the same Nigerian police that arrested me for no crime and asked me to pay them for accommodation the next morning?

I had closed from work late and was headed home. They stopped me and pushed me into their van. I was taken to a police station where I was locked up in an empty cell for hours. One of them later came and told me to settle them. I replied that I had done nothing wrong and saw no need for that. My response in perfect English seemed to have infuriated them. They then transferred me that same night to a division and locked me up with hardened criminals. There was no sitting or sleeping space. I stood till morning.
The next morning, they called me out and gave me my things(laptop and books). They didn't return my money. They pointedly told me that that was their payment for accommodating me for the night. My jaw hit the floor at Sonic speed.
It will never be well with the entire Nigerian police. There is no good one among them. They cover for each other.

    2. Oh dear!
Thank goodness you came out of it in one, they would have 'wasted/killed' themselves.
I know that there might be handful of fair people in the NPF, but they are overly 'overnumbered' 'outnumbered'.
