Nigerian Resident Doctors Suspend 10 Day Strike

Resident doctors in Nigeria have suspended their 10 days old strike..












Their president, Dr. Uyilawa Okhuaihesuyi, told The Punch Newspaper
. “We suspended the strike about one hour ago. We are responsible to Nigerians, the government has acceded to some demands.”

According to him, the strike was suspended after hours of meetings with various stakeholders in the health sector.
