ReplyDeleteOne of the best tributes I saw for George Floyd was by a village I think in Ghana. I liked how they recognized him as a long distance brother. I remember how they prayed and sought justice for his death. It was very touching. Floyd was by no means perfect but I liked how the entire world recognized the inhumanity and indignity of his death. My husband is from the Middle East and he showed me the tributes for Floyd people from his country and other regions in the Middle East made. What Chauvin did was such an affront to society to society and it showed from the reaction of people everywhere. I knew he was going to be convicted last week when I saw the Republican Trump supporting televangelist Pat Robertson and his friends on the 700 Club talking about how Chauvin was a disgrace and that he Robertson didn’t want Chauvin in jail but under the jail. I knew it was a wrap for Derek then.
