I am a hairy woman, I grow hair under my chin but what Tboss said yesterday meant nothing to me. I just read it and didn't think about it for another second.

uptown girl yes I choose to do that most times but at the same time you need people to learn stuff. she might not really know much about pcos so she might think going on like that is a joke. you do not make light of what people cannot control. I struggle with facial hair too and if I had a choice I wont have to shave often. I am sure her mindset is that you can just shave it off once and it stays off. no for some it has to be often and can sometimes get tiring. if people keep quiet all the time some people wont learn when they make blunders.

ReplyDeleteI grow hair in both my lips area, my jaw line and under my chin. I can afford to get them off now with laser for people with my hair type; but, there was a time I couldn't and I was using tweezers and depilatory cream.
Some of us have got very hairy skin and there's nothing we can do about it.
Using tweezers doesn't help much, it makes the hair to grow more in unwanted areas.

DeleteEtinosa did well. I almost dished out insults to tboss. I have "moustache" and it's been that way. I was yabbed alot while growing up and me too I yabbed them back with whatever obvious issues they had.

- It itches alot. You will keep scratching that part till the hair grows again
- No matter the amount of makeup I apply on my face, you see that particular place I shaved, it rejects the makeup. My made-up face ends up looking odd.

ReplyDeleteTboss decided not to have sense with this her post. I met one young lady with hair on her face, chin and neck region at a POS stand one day. I noticed she was kinda withdrawn and trying to hide her chin and face behind the counter. She can't even look straight into your eyes, and she sometimes cover her face with scarf. I know her actions are as a result of ppl like Tboss. The first time I admired her beauty, she was shocked and she even said "aunty, really, am I fine?". My heart broke inside because the lady in front of me was a hairy beautiful lady.

I do tell every female around me that have facial hair to remove them cause sincerely it's not flattering. I pluck under my chin, shave my moustache, trim my chest and breast, lol. People relax, what she said it's not worst than the killings, rape and everything bad that is happening now.

Well I have a moustach...some hairy women tend to grown hair under their chin and chest too. Me I just use hair removal every two weeks. Sometime when my skin is sun beaten and I look dark it doesn't show much. But the moment I lighten up , it shoes a lot. I'm uncomfortable with it cos my mom would always say no wonder u are wicked. This days I just laugh it off
