  1. You see that first picture? That was my best game, I chop enough bearings cus of that game, I dont even understand why it was so sweet. I swear this generation is missing on outdoor recreational activities

  2. Ah the first game was my thing. I gather counter die! I be mama counter with my collection counting up to a thousand. I would go with my squad to Ulasi and Danfodio looking to acquire these 'gold'. Oh, we even explored Chigadi Restaurant Ehi road, clifford and School road. Chai.
    And the game, the one above was popular with the boys. My favorite was piling an agreed number with your opponents and hitting the target with a bathroom slippers. It always ended in tears.
    The day I threw away my bag of counter under ma mother's watchful eye was a very emotional day for me.

    Parents, is there a way we can resurrect these games for our kids?

    The second game, I could only play football and relay races, no high jump.

  7. As an only girl amongst boys, these two were constant sources of bonding, interaction and fun. Growing up in the 80s is just extra beautiful.

    The other side for landing must have heap of clothes or piles of empty cartons squashed ,if not wahala go dey.

    Then somersaults,I still roll when goodnews comes. Haha

  9. I feel so alone when people talk of sports in their formative years. I have sickle cell disease and my major cause of crisis was exercise. Walking a small distance,pain; play ten ten, pain;Chai it was truly not easy for us. It pains me so much when I see very young Sicklers today, I feel it's just unfair for parents of today to give birth to Sicklers.
