    1. Obj and then GEJ. Both are good Democrats but the former set the pace for economic growth of the country. We were ballers during Baba's time.

  2. OBASANJO... I said it with my full chest! Baba as a Democratic leader trumped every other "ruler" whose photograph appeared there. Economic growth, policies, and development. And he assembled some of the best individuals to make it happen. Your dissenting views are welcomed.

    1. Before Obj, there was no future after uni without connection. He brought banking jobs, telecom jobs and we saw entrepreneurs in so many industries. Nigeria was a different place especially after Northern military rule. None of the others can stand next to him especially the Northerners. Goodluck was a puppet and had no say in the climate during his rule. IBB should be in prison. The other dude was a rubber stamp. Nothing.

  10. Yakubu Gowon and IBB were the best in terms of infrastructural development. IBB gave the first licences for private radio and television. He started the process of awarding private universities licences, he was on the verge of granting the licences when stepped down. The institution he gave provision licences were granted licences in 1998/99. He did 3rd mainland bridge, petrochemical ekpan and a refinary in Port harcourt. He opened up the banking system. Before him there were about 5-6 banks . IBB started SON, NAFDAC, NDLEA. I can go on and on .

  14. Obasanjo remains the best leader Nigeria ever produced after Murtala Mohammed! He has vision, very tough and you cannot dare him. I know he is also corrupt like an average Nigerian, but he is visionary and detribalized. It was during his time they implemented poverty alleviation program for graduates and school cert holders to empower them, which I benefited from when I was in Nigeria before the scheme died in the hands of corruption. The people handling the scheme mismanaged the funds, used the money for themselves, denied most people who should have benefitted and gave it to their friends and relatives. Obasanjo brought technocrats to his government not minding their tribe nor gender. He brought Oby Ezekwesili, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, Dora Akunyili and some other credible people to his government. I guarantee you that had Obasanjo been the president, this nonsense going on with this terrorist Northerners would have been history. I like his fearlessness. One man who dealt with the Northern oligarchs and retired most military guys who were supposed to retire, but were forming "gods'. I wish we can have another leader like him or even better. I am not saying he should come back, because we are tired of recycling them.

  15. Obj is still the best president since 1999. Unfortunate for Nigerians because he was below par but the best all the same, fearless and understood the need for the necessary evil. He was decisive and can't be pushed around.

The worst ON the list is GEJ, I blame him for the disaster called Buhari that naija is suffering today. He was just dumb and allowed people to ride roughshod over him and couldn't take necessary action and people were just tired and would rather have Buhari they knew wouldn't perform than continue with GEJ. Choosing Buhari over GEJ is like going a million years backward but who's fault really? If he did what he should have, who is Buhari to contest for the same seat with him, I mean a PhD holder and a nepa bill holder. GEJ may God forgive you, he just didnt have it in him to be president it was luck that propelled him but we all know that luck can only carry you so far and won't last if you don't do the work.

    1. You are living in denial. You voted for Bihari. Own it with your chest and don't blame GEJ for your decision to vote in the NEPA certificate holder according to you.
