    1. And she is destroying her children's lives. Instead of her to allow them go to school, she is withdrawing them from school.

    2. Doing good requires a lot of wisdom!

Yes, an apartment was rented and furnished for her BUT how does she maintain the new place??? She needs to feed herself and her children, there are bills to pay(NEPA, etc), there's school fees to pay. They have a place to sleep, which is good BUT their basic needs must be met daily! This is where empowerment comes to play! Rent an apartment and put the basics - Bed, cooking utensils and foodstuffs, clothes and toiletries. The rest of the money should have been used to set her up in business, I believe the woman has an idea about the type of business she wants to do, help her start it! That's how to HELP somebody! Teach them how to fish not just handing them the fish, so that they won't bother you again. No self respecting person will like to keep coming to one asking for help always. Not everybody enjoys begging.

  10. Spirit of begging is really disturbing her. She really needs deliverance because if anyone give her, it won't bring gain to her or the person.

Well, that is how village people love her

  11. Why should "Senior special assistant to the governor" be the only one to have the resources to give houses?
What social security program is in place for all citizens of the state to have a decent place to live and thrive in?
Shame to all the "senior special syphon and looting specialists"
Isn't it one of them that was caught in the US answering to fraud charges?

    1. Well from his post, he didn't give her a house, he rented an apartment and furnished for her.

But you are correct shaa, there's none existant social security program for the downtrodden.

But this begger sef, hers is on another level.

So "renting an apartment for her"
So how else is she supposed to sustain herself and pay the bills?
Many countries that are not as rich in resources as Nigeria have low cost housing and
rent subsidies for their low income and unhoused citizens, in addition to food benefits. Nigeria shamelessly don't have
any such. They multiply poli-trical looters as senior special assistants. They are the ones assisting the governors to loot.

    5. @anonymous 12:55, u didn't read where he said he gave her money to start up small business. The guy even tried if na only house he even rent for the woman. Someone puts a roof over ur head, u are expecting him to do everything. Na wa for this kind of entitlement mentality

    6. @13;44
      "Do everything with looted monies?"
The monies that were meant for this woman's upkeep and the likes of her
is what this senior special looter looted and is coming online to chant rubbish and
      you are hailing him?
That is why the government of impunity have not ceased in Nigeria. Your mindset is
      so skewed and warped.

      Delete
    7. @14:50 Whether it is stolen or looted money, he agreed to even help. Is he the only one that has looted or are still looting. A man helps a begger and the woman sold everything and returns back to the street, u don't see anything wrong with that, it is the man's source of income that's important to u. That's y people don't like helping. You that ur mindset is not skewed and warped, how many have u helped? Leave the man's source of income or looting and face the problem. Nigerians and entitlement, like say after he don loot the money and no help anybody, will he be arrested?

    8. It still doesn’t negate the fact that what she did is wrong. So because it’s looted funds she decided to loot the house and the business too???

    10. Money stolen from the polluted lands of the Niger Delta have no business building houses for anyone in Kogi state. This is how Nigerians continue to pretend as if the country is rich meanwhile it isn't. How much do Nigerians pay in taxes and how much is a bag of cement? What makes this begger entitled to a free house while the woman selling ewedu for N200 instead of being a nuisance would also be lumped with this begging/ stealing woman in the same tenements or council house? Where would money to maintain these free building come from? Begging other beggars? The UK built it's economy on the economy of about 50 different countries and with efficient planning and investment, can afford to provide some houses. Historically, our own ancestors bought mirrors, guns and beads with money gotten from selling their cousins so there is nothing saved up.

If anyone is deserving of a free house, it is those in the oil producing areas and rather than a corruptly constructed hut sure to collapse, the oil companies should be made to disburse an equal fraction of profits to the bank accounts of those from these areas( a database can readily be established for that by the people themselves) and they should build whatever they like.

Tax payers deserve better than their money being used to finance people who want to consume but have no interest in contributing.

      Delete
    11. Those of you in oil producing areas, it’s your leaders and people that betrayed you. Some of them are $millionaires here with money the federal goverment gave them to share with you. I have seen the corruption spread out in every ethnicity. Alams had a $1m house as far back as 20 years ago in CA. Was that not Niger Delta money? How much did patience $ hubby steal as deputy governor & wife, then governor & wife, then president & 1st lady, holding a perm sec position remotely by Skype because there was no zoom at the time! Get a list of your leaders and how much they stole. It’s enough to make every Niger deltan & Ondo person a millionaire in $. Before oil, Cocoa built the 1st TV station, the best university campus in Ife , the first high rise building in Ibadan, farm settlements, good roads and universal free primary education in western Nigeria that includes parts of Edo & Kwara. Enough with this oil bs. Go fight the Fulanis that stole the ones your leaders did not steal!

Nigeria has more resources than oil and if not for oil we might have been a society with better critical thinking skills. Google what Awolowo did in the western region with no oil but cocoa!

  15. This begging thing is a business for some people. I remember one woman at submit junctn at asaba, that was around 2002 or 2003, that woman used begging to build a house even had over 9m in her account that year. She was caught inside the bank making deposit with her grown up son. This one na begger wey get money pass who dey help am cos Even the people giving her money then, I don't even think they had up to 500k in their account. My mum always gave her money anytime we were coming from ibusa to board a bus going to benin. So this woman's case isn't new. The only thing I feel bad abt is that she has blocked way for people that really need this kind of help.

Some people were just born lazy, entitled, scammers and beggers. Na greed dey worry her. She doesn't want to work. She doesn't want to put in sacrifices necessary for business growth. She doesn't want to stress herself with the challenges that comes with business. Begging is so convenient for her, let her continue!!

  20. Just imagine.....she prefers to suffer and beg

  21. She made her choice to be a serial beggar., The bad thing here is, she's also schooling her children to remain one and not be honest.

  25. Jumabee your selfishness and showmanship is not lost on intelligent people like me. You claim you rented and furnished an apartment for a widow with two children who was begging on the streets, as your birthday gift. You used a team on camera to show the world how good you are, but you were too dumb to realize that she needed food to eat daily. You were too selfish to realize that without an income, the so called rent cannot be renewable.

Now tell us, why did you keep editing out the parts of the video where she was explaining her real problem and exposing your shortsightedness? You want her to leave the street as if you control her or she asks for your help in the first place? She's explained the does charcoal business. She explained she rented a smaller place next to the market. She explained hr only problem now is finance and she's willing to work to earn income. Yet you posted the video and you're stupidly warning Nigerians not to help her. Shebi she will eat "comfortable" and "television"?

The same camera has exposed your true motive - to score philanthropy points with another person's life. Now it has showed your plans failed and you're just a manipulative and ambitious young man trying so hard to show the world a picture of what you're not. Stop warning her to leave the streets if you won't give her small money to startup the business. I'm not a supporter of begging and I'm definitely not supporting the fact that such an educated woman is begging. But the humanity in me will not allow me allow you rubbish a helpless woman who is selling charcoal to feed her family.

Stop using defenseless people to score points! You know she can't come online to see this rubbish and exonerate herself from all the propaganda. That's really low and reeks of poverty and unintelligence. Jumabee go and buy sense.

    1. You said the truth unlike some clowns defending him. The woman does charcoal business, why not assist her with cash to support the business so that she can be self reliant. Instead he wants to trend, Mr Philanthropist. Abegi

    2. She could have gone to sell the charcoal without stealing the items in the apartment. She could have refused their offer to live in the apartment. Charcoal business is a good one so don't make it seem like people who sell it are so poor their wrongs should be overlooked. The guy has an ego, granted but the woman is also a scammer. This video is a case of like poles repelling each other.

  26. Lol. It is ridiculous that people who have refused to use their brains are bashing this woman. Na house she go chop.
If you want to help someone be sensitive enough to know what that person really needs so you don't waste your time and money.
Even from this woman's explanation, you can clearly see that all she needs is food and a stable source of income... she has no need for a furnished house. Na TV she go chop?

Getting her a house and furnishing it without helping her build the skills that will help her adjust to a better life is tantamount to sending her back to begging which is a skill she is very good at.

People should learn to use their brains.

Stop jumping up and down like a headless chicken attacking and insulting every comment that does not support you people. You can deceive some people but you can't deceive everyone.
He gave her 'small money/token' to start a small business. In this present day Nigeria, what kind of business can she start with a 'small amount/token' that can sustain her and children, pay bills, pay school fees, pay rent? Can you call a spade a spade and stop barking at every opposing comment.

It's people like you that encourage these corrupt people in power. Look at the way the nonentity quickly ran to the social media to drag the poor woman, because he did what he did in the first place for clout, no because he genuinely wanted to help.

      God will judge.

    4. Which business and how much exactly was she given for it?

  27. Sounds like she is mentally ill.

This is nothing new, it happens all the time. It's not just about getting someone off the streets and in a home. Are they ready for such a change, can they function in a quieter environment, do they even want that? Some are on drugs and others are mentally ill, putting them in a home is not going to do anything especially if the change was pushed on them and did not come out of their own consciousness.
