  2. How did Twitter insult the president? A tweet is against its rules and was deleted, how is that an insult on the president and Nigerians? You talked about regulations, isn't that what Twitter did? Say something else, please.

    1. So for your mind he is broke because he sees it differently from yours. I agree with him, it was a great insult to the president and to the country. A platform which worst threats has been made and there was no sanction or deleting of tweets.

  11. I used to have respect for this man, but his comment here shows clearly he did not understand what is going on with Twitter ban. There are rules and regulations set up by Twitter that was violated.

  18. Donald Trump tweet was deleted by twitter and there was never a complaint, Nigeria Presidency went too far on mundane things.

The real reason why all this hullaballoo is because of "Sowore" hastag campaign of #Buharimustgo!!!

His cabinet also refuse to let him know the position of the constitution as regards "Freedom of Expression" When Retired Uniform Men is in power, this is what we experience "Civil Rule"

  21. Hmmmmm. Nigerians deserve their leadership. If you make a rule in your own house that everyone must take off their shoes and someone uses soiled shoes on your Persian rug, do you not have a right to enforce your house rules. Even Stella doesn’t publish all comments because it’s her blog. Twitter is a private company set up by Jack Dorsey. He didn’t collect goverment money to start it. Like Facebook he smartly made money by allowing you volunteer your information & air your opinions on anything with rules. Ego is one of the problems with Nigeria. An American newspaper captured it best “ Nigerian President bans Twitter out of ego”. Was Trump the president of the most powerful nation not banned? He didn’t just have his tweets deleted Trump is STILL banned from Twitter! You deserve those in power, at least their supporters. Honorable this, excellency that, Imperial majesty Z, too much ego and empty pride. Mr Biden is not referred to as “his excellency”. Senators here aren’t referred to as anything but Senator and have no official car or driver. One Senator used to sleep in his DC office because rent is high in the areas around Pennsylvania Avenue. Look in the mirror Mr Solade. Like Dele Momodu, your belly disctates your speech. Sometimes silence or anonymity is golden. Twitter owes nobody any apology. Who is losing? Nigerian youths are flocking to Indian built apps instead of building theirs. Twitter shares went up after he announced the ban. I’m sorry for Naija! The thinking is now so upside down
