The Ex-soldiers who were dismissed from Nigerian Army a few years ago say Nnamdi Kanu promised them double of their salaries in the army before joining the IPOB military camp in Abia State where they trained over 4000 IPOB volunteered fighters and then moved to Asaba Delta State where they trained another 400 IPOB members.
They Ex soldiers were arrested recently after operatives of the IRT acted on intelligence they generated from some members of IPOB when they raided the group’s hideouts in parts of Eastern Nigeria.

ReplyDeleteKanu himself took pictures with his fighters years ago. He was wearing a white shirt and black tie and the so called fighters looked hungrier and more frail than Sudanese refugees. While typing from a place of safety, feel pity for your kinsmen who will be raided, raped and robbed by their own kin once all this agitation dies down. We have seen this with Isakaba and OPC. We have seen this with the Niger Delta militants and the followers of Mohammed Yussuf. We saw this during the civil war when prominent Igbo fighters who Ojukwu saw as rivals were murdered. All this isn't new. Face the criminality of banditry but don't fall into the deception of bigotry.
