Media Personality Toke Makinwa Slams Those Asking Her When She Will Re-marry

''When will you marry, this year, next year, sometime or never .....'' - (Julius Agwu)

Media personality Toke Makinwa has sent a memo to the people who have refused to stop singing this song in her ears....

She said;

''Most of you know that I am very shameless I have sold my shame and when you are dealing with someone that is shameless there is nothing you can do because at the end of the day I own my shit there is absolutely nothing you can do, maybe not to me or anyone else. Like there is nothing absolutely you can say to me that is new.

I think it's a disgusting behavior of people constantly asking me when are you getting married?... me, women or whoever.''

  7. Stop asking people when they are getting married
Stop asking people when they will have children
Stop asking people about their weight.

    The list is endless.

Just Stop asking people about things that are not your business.

If you don't have anything to do with your time, drink water and mind the toilet business it won't get offended by your regular visit.

  8. Why would anyone want to add to people's frustration. Someone is trying hard to be sane and act as though all as is well, people will come and pour sand in the garri again. Live and let's live. Marriage is not for everybody, especially for those that have tried and failed. Nobody should come and menstruate on my comment, this is the way I choose to pass my own message.

  13. I still remember that BV who said she was always asked when she would marry by this woman and one day she told the woman she was waiting for her to die so she could marry her husband. I still imagine the shock on that woman's face🤣. Hopefully she learned something.

  14. Nigerians dont realise that not everyone is built for marriage, those that felt they could restructure their mind frame to fit into the union of man and woman under one roof, didnt make it past 3yrs.

  15. Some people will leave their lives that have leakage and carry another person's matter on head.
How one useless man here carries my own single life on head to the extent he started arranging jobless nuisance guys for me oo.
And the mumu guys keep dancing to his tunes and wasting away.
The useless man i don't know him from anywhere and how he carries my matter for head got me more worried.
Idleness minds is indeed a devil's workshop

  16. Being single, divorced or without a child(ren) is neither a crime or a curse. The worst thing that can happen to a person is being in a battle disguised as blessing. It is losing oneself while trying to please another and society. Nothing beats happiness and self love and if that means being unmarried and without children, then that is so wholesome, bae and best cloud 9. Most times, those who ask these questions, mock and scorn are mostly unhappy lots and afraid of being alone, so they project who they are unto others. If you see any single Nigerian lady within Toke's age bracket and above still single and not bowing to society's pressure of settling for less, know for sure that person is super strong.

    1. .....and afraid of being alone, so they project who they are unto others. This is it, they can't imagine not being with a man, not because their marriage is that good but because they need that societal validation and any woman who doesn't is looked upon wit pity, scorn or mockery.

  20. Chai Gift your brain is hot. Many times when people are in a kind of situation they always say people mock me bla bla bla or people always ask me when will you marry, get pregnant etc. if you ask them ok show me the people or name them battery go die. People don't really have time as I have come to observe in my own opinion. People just imagine this things and say its people my two cents.
