  8. If you take the pains to read, you will understand why we have unused power. Your emotions most not be the force behind every comment please. Nigeria generates 13,000 Mw of electricity daily. The transition company of Nigeria(TCN) only have the capacity to pick 8,000 Mw daily from the generation companies. The distribution companies ( discos) can only pick 4000-5000 Mw from the transmission company (TCN). So between generation and distribution 8,000 Mw is wasted, unused daily. The federal government pay billions daily for the wasted (unused) 8,000 Mw daily. Instead of the federal government paying for the daily unused 8,000 Mw, they want to sell it to countries that need electricity. We need the unused electricity, no doubt. But the distribution companies are always rejecting the electricity supplied to them by TCN. About ten years after after Jonathan sold the then PHCN, the distribution haven't invested to expand their infrastructure. Distribution companies were sold to those who have no technical expertise and the finance to run them. Some are asking government to cancel the privatisation, it is not that easy. The Hawks in the Jonathan administration who sold PHCN to their friends and family members added clauses which makes cancelling the privatisation extremely difficult to cancel

    4. You are really deluded and in your feelings. What happened to increasing our capacity to utilize all 13,000?. Giant of Africa for mouth. Charity they say begins at home.
Those countries you're selling to, will increase their capacity and utilize ALL. Nonsense and Bu

    6. Anonymous donor, I won't jump into your mud to insult you. Anybody who is not criticising and condemning the government like you is not entitled to his views. Distribution companies are private enterprise , it not the responsibility of government to help them expand their infrastructure. CBN borrowed them money to do so. But they achieved very little

Richie, I choose to ignore you

    7. Yoripricess, I cannot dignify you, you are just too daft. I have never replied to the nonsense you drop as comments and I will never do so. Please stay on your lane and back off. If you are frustrated, look for where to vent. All of you here think those who have different views shouldn't comment on any post, while you were all singing about free speech last week. Pathetic humans

    9. If transmission companies and disco's aren't delivering, then terminate the entire agreement. What sort of useless contract will come without a termination clause? As in, the FG went into such an agreement with its koro koro eyes? So it affirms its incompetence; or better yet, the greed and selfishness of those running it, who purposely inserted such clauses to their own benefit? Well the fact is that even the Constitution can be amended, talkless a contract. If they mean to do something about it in law or equity, they VERY WELL CAN!
